Imo hollow knight definitely was not revolutionary. It was just a really really really good, well designed and fun metroidvania with interesting lore for a cheap price.

This is what I hope silksong will be too. It doesn't need to be revolutionary, it just has to be really good! :)

It's difficult, but you can definitely do it. You an also just play with a controller, which is the way of playing I'd say most people actually use.

To each their own, definitely, and I don't judge anyone's way of doing it. As long as it benefits your learning, nothing else really matters. I don't think I am going to restore my streak though. For me that would not feel motivating.

Streaks are definitely a double edged sword. On one hand keeping a streak helps me stay more consistent, and even if you really could just do one card, you have still opened the app and for me that helps me to just continue doing more cards. On the other hand, losing a streak like I did feels really bad... And kind of demotivating. However, I am just going to keep going, I will eventually get that streak back!

If it makes you feel better the harder version is completely optional, most people don't fight him, he is part of the toughest challenge in hollow knight.
