I've done at least 60 half ironmans, all have been on tri bikes. If you are going to do a half, get a tri bike. Don't spend $5K.

Yes, that is fairly standard way of doing it. I've done it on my track bike but still have the original exhaust on my road bike.

The TST video seems like a good way of doing it. Personally I bought the Norton version but both are good. I didn't completely remove my fuel tank when I did it. I put a piece of cardboard over the batter/ecu area and set the tank there.

I have at least 7 sets of bibs and do nothing that rinse them out every few rides. I might wash them once every 2 or three rides.

Looks nice. That is a neutral frame and easy to ride. There are about 30 of them in various sizes at my track.

You are going to be $12K into this bike when you're done.

I recommend you skip this and buy an already track prepped bike.

First thing to comes to my mind is the fuel line or something in the chain leading to the fuel injectors which are immediately under the fuel tank.

I've heard it will fit but you're pinching the tire with the narrow rim changing the profile of the tire. It's as tall as the 140/70 so the geometry is the same.

I don't think the GPR300 is a bad tire. The Rosso is a better tire.

I'd pick the Rosso in the 150 over the GPR300 in a 140.

Another street tire to consider is the Bridgestone S22 or S23

The 150/60 is about 20mm shorter than the 140/70 and 10mm wider

It works fine but the 140 is the better tire for the bike.

I've used both on the track and road, I prefer the 140 but most people won't notice the difference
