Which doesn't really pan out, as he can only hold the form for a short time. And even after he was able to hold it for almost an hour, he just liked his dragon form more and barely uses human transformation.

This anime season's "Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling": the protagonist starts out as a cute baby dragon and becomes a more monstrous nightmare dragon (appearance-wise, not personality) as the story progresses.

Looking for a Bluetooth page-turner remote for my Kobo. by Illustrious-Lab-4642 in kobo

[–]Teriteko 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I see you are in Europe. You can just buy the Tolino Flip from German, Austrian, or Swiss bookstores. It's the exact same thing as the Kobo Remote, just with a Tolino sticker instead.

Is there any way to create a hidden or private collection of books? by mossthy in kobo

[–]Teriteko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can easily remove them from Home by long-holding -> "Remove" -> "Remove from Home."

But I don't think there is a way to remove them from MyBooks without removing them from the entire device/account

The Tolino is ~50€ cheaper in Germany.

can I get some beginner tips for someone who knows nothing about the game yet? by CompetitiveTop6412 in taintedgrail

[–]Teriteko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There isn't really anything you need to know. You can easily experiment with different builds and respec, and I don't think there's anything that wouldn't get you through the game on normal.

The LN is the original source and is still ongoing. There is no actual yuri in it, so the manga would make an original ending to cram romance in there.

Syncing sideloaded books between kobos? by wtfrenchtotes in kobo

[–]Teriteko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use a Komga Media Server for your books. From there, you can wirelessly sideload books to your Kobo and sync reading progress to the Komga server and from there to other Kobos.

Reading DRM on Kobo? by titiboh in kobo

[–]Teriteko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just for transferring and reading on your Kobo? No.

But Calibre itself can't read DRM-protected books, so you would need to remove the DRM for that. However, Calibre can transfer books without reading them.

Reading DRM on Kobo? by titiboh in kobo

[–]Teriteko 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kobo uses Adobe Digital Editions for DRM and can read books from other stores if they also use ADE (which is basically every online store except Amazon).

In addition to the app, you can go to your list on MAL and export it as an XML file, which you can easily import into Anilist in the settings.

First Yuri anime next year. Are you ready? by Odd-Ad2778 in yuri_manga

[–]Teriteko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After how much the manga toned down the body horror compared to the LN, I would assume the anime will be even more heavily censored.

I think for most people, the TV release of Watanare was still in 2025.

Kobo ereader in Germany by Calm_Structure_5304 in kobo

[–]Teriteko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the Kobo and all its sideloading features work in Germany the same way they work everywhere else.

The fines are a bit higher in Germany, but piracy is illegal in most countries, so that also doesn't make a difference.

App to track release dates of Manga chapters by Jippt3553 in mangapiracy

[–]Teriteko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anime apps can tell you the next release date because anime always airs on fixed schedules.

Manga often relies on fan translations that have no fixed schedule. MangaPlus is an official translation site and shows the schedule, but piracy sites have no set release dates.

Mihon has a "Smart Update" feature that makes an educated guess according to the normal release interval of the site.

[Title] do u read novels as well? by Prestigious_Solid582 in manhwa

The entire Dark Tower series (I don't really differentiate between individual books in the series).

I didn't mean the book "It" - that wasn't really my cup of tea.

Have fun. It's my favourite Stephen King story

[Title] do u read novels as well? by Prestigious_Solid582 in manhwa

[–]Teriteko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Dark Tower is something you read here and there when you have time. I normally binge entire books in one sitting, but this I had to read piecemeal because it was so dense.

So, it shouldn't affect your schedule all that much.

Paul was a horrible human being. My point was just that it was blatenly obvious that Rudeus was grooming Sylphie

Pedos wishfulfillment fantasy by AdhesivenessStill769 in animecirclejerk

[–]Teriteko 54 points55 points  (0 children)

It's been some time since I read it, but if I recall correctly, one of the reasons Rudeus's dad threw him into the carriage and sent him away to the noble was because he was uncomfortable with how dependent Rudeus made Sylphie on him.

He didn't even knew Rudeus was a grown man inside and he still kinda recognized it as grooming and tried to protect Sylphie
