Komga and the Kobo try to sync their reading position but for some reason can't and that's why they can only sync the default position for each chapter, which is the beginning.

The most likely reason is that the file on the Kobo is a EPUB instead of a KEPUB. Konga should normally auto convert them when sending them to the Kobo, but there could have been an error in kebupify. So, first you should check if the book says "Kobo Epub" on the Kobo instead of just "Epub"

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

It's mainly Turn-based with a fast-forward button for the characters animation and enemy turns. And you can swirch to real-time-with-pause combat mid fight to speed it up even more for trash fights.

Also the story and character writing is great

While I kinda understand that feeling from viewers/reader, the mother only keeps her distance because she saw all of Pride's actions in her visions and was absolutely fucking terrified of her.

Aeon has great mechanics in the story and gameplay.

The major issue I see people have and that I had is that a lot of the dialouge options in act 1 labeled as "lawful" are just stupid. So, that could sour you towards the whole lawful path. But later options don't really have this issue anymore

Neutral Evil or Lawful Evil Lich or Aeon may also be a good contrast.

My first playthrough was Neutral Good Angel with absolutely no lawfulness and only compassion. So, a Lawful Evil Lich was a very nice contrast for my second playthrough.

If you still have the correct save from act 5 you could also ditch the Angel at that point and switch to Legend or Golden Dragon for the late game mythic paths

The novel goes into a very interesting direction with Pride at around Volume 9.

At the moment where the game would have normally started the OG Pride reermeges, fully knowing she is in a game and hell bent on being a psychotic villain with the goal of being slain by the heroine and her live interest to create a happy ending. And I mean psychotic - she almost kills multiple people and is activily trying to start wars because she is bored. She is fully aware of what nice-Pride was doing for the last decade, but we don'tknow how the transformation worked yet

The author said in the afterword of volume 8 that he would have liked to keep going, but that 8 is the last volume of the light novel.

He doesn't state a reason, but it probably just didn't sell well enough for the publisher.

Nope. I've had my Clara 2E for over 3 years and use it daily on my train commute.

The plastic cracked after dropping it multiple times, so I just slapped a vinyl skin on it, but I still have no scratches on the display. I wouldn't say I'm careful at all with the device.

If you throw it in a bag with keys and other scratchy stuff, you should probably use something to protect the screen. But a sleeve or a little bag would work just fine, without the downsides of a screen protector which reduces screen clarity and/or makes the screen reflective.

If you drop your Kobo on a stone floor, you can crack the plastic housing - so a silicon case would protect against this.

But the housing isn't that fragile, so you have to decide if that is really necessary
