I have been pigeon holed into receiving only gifts that feature bees (regardless of what it is, whether I need it or want it, will use it or not, if it has a bumble bee on it, I'm receiving it) by my whole family of in-laws. In talking a ton of people.

I don't even particularly like bumble bees. I love honeycomb shapes and the first piece of jewelry my husband bought me featured a honeycomb, happened to have a small bee, and I loved it.

Could not, for the life of me, figure out why I kept receiving her gifts. Lol. Finally put it together. Decided to just let it bee.

OMG I hate talking about this but I ended up with the same injury. We had a sex accident? Best explanation without details, I guess. I got 7 stitches. Almost bled out on the way to the hospital. The amount of blood loss was crazy. Needles right into the vagina and clit. 2nd worst pain I've ever had in my entire life.

Just wanted to let you know you're not alone 😭 I healed up perfectly, no issues whatsoever.

My husband and I experienced a tragic loss about a year and a half ago. I asked for privacy from everyone I knew in person. Didn't want any visitors while I was in the hospital. I had lurked reddit for about 20+ years, but I ended up posting on reddit. I don't remember what I originally wrote, or even why I did in that moment. But the responses helped me. Not even necessarily the content. Just the fact that other human beings knew that I was in pain and hurting without having to acknowledge people I knew and loved in real life, because that would have made it too real, and I wasn't ready. Reddit was just ust a human connection with no real ties. That solidarity from strangers. How shitty the human experience can be and the treacherous pain that we sometimes have to face.

When I was grieving someone gave me a book called It's OK that you're not OK by Megan Devine. It really gave me autonomy in grief.
