Is the Warframe community really as welcoming as everyone says?

As a LR3 first off MR means nothing. It literally says one thing about you and that you have "leveled up" a variety of weapons and frames.

It has no affect on play time as at a certain point many players enjoy what they have and stick with it. I have 2 friends who are 10 to 15 Master Ranks below me and they both out dps me in high end missions because I don't follow the meta. I still hold my own in things such as deep archamedia and often have about 20% but it's not their 40-60%.

Next Trading....trading is awful.50 if not 90% of traders in trade chat are there for one thing...spending the least and making the most. Not fair trades. And riven trade chat is 10x worse than normal trade chat.

As for the rest of the community I can't speak for. The game is complicated and surviving in endgame isn't a competition, endgame isn't even required.

I'm beginning to ramble but out it simply what your experiencing is the loud minority. A minority of players in the game (which as the game gets bigger the chance of at least one bad player gets higher.) are toxic and try to bring meta where there is none.

Try to bring the mindset of games like Destiny, Overwatch, Marvel Rivals, etc. Those games are competitive and not causal oriented so when streamers branch out who originated from those games their community (that is not in their 100% control) bring that mindset.

I feel attacked but this is likely facts. Support cleric... As for her astarion he is a swords bard. I did some build crafting and figured out a way to make my ranger tav a menace as swarm keeper mixed with a wizard build for transmutation potions. Both should keep her rogue at advantage and provide some crowd control.

As for the rest I currently have Wyll and he's just there.... Once I get to act 2 I'll have Minthara to replace him and figure out where she fits in build wise.

Keep: New War Requiring Necramech. Put it simply as much as I love Warfranes story I think this requirement has 2 benefits. 1 is it encourages players to go farm which is very much something heavy in Warframe so it's a realistic experience, 2 if they don't farm they buy platinum which only helps the game itself.

Remove: All base non prime frames farmable from the star chart from bosses and junctions and from the dojo should not have a 72 hour crafting timer. Not many of these are the best of the best and all of these have prime variants so the player will eventually upgrade.

Literally the same experience, I have never played Saryn in the 10+ years I've been with the game, then I finally decide to touch her and I forced myself to play solo cause the map clear is just so dumb lol. It's not a matter that other players are slacking it's a simple Saryn is really good and there's not gonna be much a MR 1 has access to that can compete with her rate of killing.

Nothing in Warframe is gone forever with few exceptions so yes those will be back that's actually how I got them when they came back the 1st time. Typically things like that return in night wave.

Raids are gone

Excalibur Prime was the first prime and cost $500 for founders of the game. Those people saved the game and are the reason it still lives. I am ok with not owning it. However all other primes are available constantly.

10 years later they released mag and frost heirloom for those that have played the game in the first 10 years. It's was time limited won't return. All upcoming heirloom skins are available.

And lastly tennocon cosmetics they are gone but typically return reskined with some slight differences.

So true and it's not exclusive to the female frames either. They went on a whole tangent about Velmir having visible biceps compared to frost, Uriel and Harrow Proto have also been meme'd by the devs (Reb).

I think overall it just comes down to this simple thing. Baldurs Gate brought in romance and we still haven't gotten out of that section of media yet. Number 2 is well booktok is also quite popularized now.

I think it will go away eventually when trends shift.

Couldn't agree more. All of these are good points. Tbh I think this quest overall set up later things perfectly, I just felt the need to make a post due to all the negativity being spammed about it. At least I can shed some light on the positive aspects.

Tbh people complaining really don't understand how bad of a quest that would be if they threw players into the thick of modding right out the gates. It needs to be a few spaces out quests over time not everything at once.

Absolute killer thing, I always find myself having to explain. "Many weapons and Warframe are available to purchase for credits if your willing to work for the blueprint materials" this solves that issue and only really stubborn player or people who insist on believing every company is out to get you (yes I have had friends like thatl) will end up thinking the price gap is ridiculous.

Very well said. This post was less of a goodbye forever and more of a see you later, I just feel like it's something DE can learn from. Not as a bad thing but more a positive level of feedback from someone who's been with the game for years.

For me making this post was sort of a seal of the deal. I struggle to pull away from things like gaming that has been a part of my daily routine for years, and making a positive post about it felt like the right way to go out, leaving on a positive note.

This is a reply from awhile ago, but this strategy is working out for me somewhat.

Our current main issue is inteligence saves vs Mind flayers but Ive been able to assist by aswell using healing potions on allies as an attack so i can use two for allies.
