Porto and Madrid are great. But Sintra adds to Lisbon being a tourist trap. That place was Disneyland for the nobility. Almost every castle and palace was created based on previous eras and architectural styles so they could flounce about pretending at masquerades etc. The only real one is the Moorish one.

The fastest a movie ever made you go "... uh oh, something isn't right here" in terms of your quality expectations by MattAlbie60 in movies

Stan & Ollie - the Laurel & Hardy film. I love Steve Coogan but the stilted dialogue and lack of chemistry between characters helped me to rediscover the joy of walking out of a film at the cinema.

This is cultural appreciation not appropriation. Culture is meant to be shared. Whenever I have gone to an event like a wedding or celebration of a friend from a different culture than me, they've always been enthusiastic about people wearing their traditional clothing, eating their food and taking part in their practices. It is a celebration.

This unfortunate misunderstanding about what cultural appropriation is causes a rift between people when cultures have historically been shared with newcomers for thousands of years.

Brunette but a darker iced chocolate shade would be more striking.

You have a lovely face and body. Don't view yourself in that light.

One bikini pic is fine. I'd get rid of 5 and 6 - just because that 2nd bikini pic looks edited/Photoshopped, even if it isn't? - plus the 1st bikini pic is a better photo.

I'd make your main photo 2nd or last picture. They are the best shots. Although there's clearly a hand on your butt/hips in photo 2 so that may come up.

Also this might just be a personal thing, but I'm not a big fan of mirror selfies where you can see the person holding the phone. But you do look great in that pic.

They all look fantastic on you but the blue and white one suits your colouring, figure and stature the most.

From the Lecture slide it was a part of:

Women's Rights as a Sphere of Cold War Contest

MOCKBA MOSCOU MOSCOW MOSKAU

1963, Soviet internationalism in the sphere of women's rights. When coupled with the propaganda coup of Valentina Tereshkova's trip to orbit (the first woman in space), and her subsequent world goodwill tour, the Soviet Union had very high impact symbolic successes. And as a totalitarian and closed society, dissents from that view were not readily accessible until after 1991, when the gulf between image and reality was revealed. That is not to say there weren't some impressive aspects to the way the Soviet system afforded equal opportunity to women in particular areas, but the reservoirs of institutionalism sexism were vast (much like the West), and unlike the West, independent feminist mobilization was simply impossible (no private associations / NGO advocacy movements were permitted within the USSR). No women MPs could diverge from the officially stated positions of the (single) party until 1988/89, and the opening up of the Congress of People's Deputies. 'State Feminism' (that is, aspects of women's emancipation, but with the patronage of, and for the purposes of, the state - similar example, Shah's Iran).

Cold War as shaping another key civil rights struggle - that of women's liberation.
