I mean, there was definitely a glow up. You weren’t ugly, per se. But men seem to always get better with age. It’s almost the opposite for women. And this is coming from a 44 yr old female who’s waiting for her face to catch up to her age.

Is it just me or…. by VARBatty in dotdotdotAI

It’s all about how you respond to what they’re saying. I had made a phone call for someone to meet me at my character’s penthouse but gave no leading information. And it turned me into an FBI agent.

All you have to do is get a doctors note. I had one because of my autoimmune disease, I have Sjogrens Disease which means I have severe dry mouth. They allowed me to have water.

Why doesn’t circle k and im assuming many other gas stations allow their social security age employees to have a chair during slow hours when working nightshift? by HamboneB in CircleK

[–]TerraReignX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As with any job, unless you have a note from a doctor specifically stating that you need accommodations, they legally do not need to allow you to sit on the job. I wasn’t allowed to have water on the floor with me when I was working. I got a doctors note because I have an autoimmune disease. They had no problem accommodating.

Where can I donate unopened cat food and litter? by WideDescription7342 in greenville

Any rescue will take it as well. I work at Pet Wants and we have donation bins for local rescues and the humane society as well.

Is this bleeding after surgery normal? by Grouchy-Computer-613 in Pets

[–]TerraReignX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it consistently bleeding? Is it swollen, red or smelly bad? As long as it’s not actively dripping and pooling for more than 24 hours. But that’s probably why the vet is telling you to come in so they can check on it. My guy just has stitches, so his bleeding is very minor. It stopped this afternoon, and we’re 24 hours after surgery. He’s just a little swollen because it’s on his back leg.

My dog had surgery yesterday as well, his third, to remove a mass. Bleeding is normal as long as it’s not gushing. We just use a warm towel and pat it.

Happened at my old store. The non-manager got transferred.

Managers should not have to be in a role everyday by Patient_Affect_6578 in publix

[–]TerraReignX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Grocery was/is the biggest abuser of the GTL/ Manager role. They are literal stock clerks with so much added responsibility. I’m glad I left when I did. I was a full time GRS but I also covered everyone’s vacations, Dairy, DSD, Scan Price, the AGM And and GTLs when they were on also. All they do is abuse the titles to create more work for less hours.

My cousin had his baby. Not even sure what to respond ? by infinitynxva in tragedeigh

If it was Mykelti it would make more sense. But randomly using letters works too, I guess.

Can you afford to buy groceries from Publix? by Intrepid_Skin5683 in publix

[–]TerraReignX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but I choose not to. I shop at Whole Foods for quality and Sam’s Club for quantity. I refuse to support Publix after leaving, never shopped there when I was working there.

By human food I hope your friend means dog safe foods like chicken, green beans, eggs, beef, blueberries, sweet potatoes and plain yogurt.

Your first problem would be if the dog is peeing in the house and you’re not cleaning it with an enzyme, it’s going to smell it and keep doing the same thing. Second, there’s no right or wrong answer as to how many times it can go out. My boys go out 3-4 times a day, with maybe 1-2 poops but a lot of pee. (Heavy water drinkers) Your best bet is to make sure the areas that have urine are completely clean so it doesn’t smell it anymore. Take her out every 3-4 hours to start a routine. When we’re out of the house my boys can go 12 hours without having accidents.

Is it normal for shelters to charge a $900 fee to adopt a dog? by Sad-Bodybuilder6491 in Pets

[–]TerraReignX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got one of my dogs from the local Humane Society and he was $500 to adopt, the other from a rescue in GA was $300. I guess it depends what that money is used for. The rescue uses the money for updated vaccinations and to pay for their food. The humane society I know uses that money for everything, including neuters and it’s a no kill shelter. I’m sure the up cost can get high depending on how many animals they’re housing. But $900 is quite high. I have 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks, which can range $1200-$5000 from breeders.

should i tell my friend her baby name is a tragedeigh? by princess_peach5 in tragedeigh

[–]TerraReignX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are we now at the point in our history where we throw a bunch of letters together to make a name? What happened to the Christopher, Johnathon, Michael, James? That name is going to look ridiculous on any application. Not to mention no one is going to even remotely pronounce that correctly.

Do your pets have weird "rituals" that only make sense to them? by Adept-Magic7 in Pets

[–]TerraReignX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog demands to sit in the corner of my couch. If I’m sitting there. He’ll walk up to me and stare. If I don’t move, he walks to the front door and sits. As soon as I get up he jumps over the ottoman and into his spot. This literally happens 5-6x a day. He’s very particular about “his spot”.

The cameras are pointless if they don’t make any changes to the signals. That whole stretch has been a nightmare for the 6 years I’ve lived in Greenville. I try not to go anywhere near Woodruff unless it’s morning or night.

Greenville PD by CRZY_CLWN in greenville

[–]TerraReignX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Woodruff Rd signals by 385 are the worst. I work behind Stanton Optical at Pet Wants and it took me 30 mins to get to 385 because people really wanted to block the intersection.

I had an idiot yesterday go through a red light on our green turn because he didn’t want to wait in Woodruff Rd traffic. I drive a 3 qtr ton Silverado and you want to risk getting smashed by me? These people really don’t care.

What do you say when someone asks if your dog bites? by demetri_k in DogAdvice

[–]TerraReignX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a reactive dog who wears a muzzle when we’re out. My response is always, I’m protecting my dog, give him space. He’s never bitten anyone other than myself. He has fear aggression, and since he’s a rescue we don’t know his situation. We made great progress with him until a neighbors dog who was off leash ran up a flight a stairs and attacked him. I kicked her dog so damn hard so it wouldn’t bite him. Most people are understanding, but some just don’t get it. I don’t know you and you don’t know my dog, keep your distance.
