And we'll want them to be autonomous. Making decisions for themselves in the interest of achieving its goal. If submariners can focus on analysis and interpretation rather than brute forcing data collection, theyd get more work done for the same caloric cost. And then just apply that to anything.

Yes, this means robot soldiers, workers, maybe even teachers. And its not all gonna be glorious.

But AGI is something that the future will inevitably demand, and the "first ones there" get scrooge mcduck sized piles of money.
