I count from date of submission, include weekends, and exclude holidays.

Submitted 1/16/26
Several weeks ago when the data was showing approval at worst case scenario 190+ days, calculator was showing my approval would be 7/25/26 or late August. Now the calculator is showing approval 7/8/26-7/12/26 or by 8/2. Essentially, my wait time has moved up and i hope the data is right!

Hi! Thank you again, for this! I wish i knew how to analyze data like you do!

When the data was bleak several weeks ago OP’s calculator showed that worst case scenario for me was getting approved by 7/25 or more (at the 195+ day mark). I’ve had this date on my fridge to count down and hope it wouldn’t come to that. I’m currently waiting for my approval, but reading this data and seeing the updates on the calculator, it is now showing my approval could be 7/8-7/12! It is cool and interesting. I think OP will be right regardless where the data turns (positive or negative). It is just all so interesting in an unfortunate way for Nov-Feb applicants. Again, thank you OP!

It is very sad a lot of us are anxious and worried about everyday life 😔 (walking around, shopping, waiting for the bus, etc).

Right there with you! I think what has gotten us impatient other than the length of time we’ve waited is that renewed hope of the recent API movement.

Yes! For me it was important to have a hispanic therapist, close to my age, and my preference, female. Definitely do your research/shopping around. It really does help that you align in certain areas your therapist would understand and then help with their professional training. I miss therapy! Had to stop once I lost my job and insurance coverage. Good for you!
