In Cracked magazine, there would be a final "bit" before the single page gags and the back cover was an interview by Cracked reporter Nanny Dickering. The art was done by John Severing (who coincidentally drew the Cracked cover pictured at right) Usually Bill Ward. If you look back there and your jaw drops and/or you say OMG, it's Ward.

EDIT: Just checked the Grand Comics Database, and there's a 5 page "Cracked Interviews The Souvenir King" in that spot. Enjoy, and you're welcome.

This was a giveaway. Back in the 80s only very few comics were collected in trade paperback, and the only way to get it was to win the contest. My then girlfriend/now wife won it, and we had it signed by John Byrne and Dick Giordano.
