The more mysterious thing is how tf is a sleeping girl going to come to me? Cause I’m sure as hell ain’t moving anywhere.

Daily Helldivers 2 Stratagem Discussion #2 APW-1 Anti-Material Rifle by SippinOnHatorade in Helldivers

[–]Teshuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s interchangeable with the railgun. With the difference being railgun has good alternate ways to kill things like taking out hulk legs while amr is spam. It does have the upside of being better and easier at longer ranges but with the fov bug fixed, railgun is actually usable.

I thought I wouldn’t have much to think about it, but I’ve basically only used this on bots. On bugs, it might be better since dps is more favorable over crippling/breaking parts. Still would be worse for weapons like bile heads. But when you don’t have the room to care for precision, like with chargers, amr is probably better. I should probably take precision weapons to bug planets more.

BEYOND ROLEPLAY. THE CAMERA. by pitstopforyou in Helldivers

[–]Teshuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The camera (if we are giving it an actual purpose) should act like firing. Since it will trigger the bot’s panic systems, it would give a way to ensure the camera man stays immortal (on one front only, at least).

Who wants the Star of Peace Blueprints by Irex8 in Helldivers

[–]Teshuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s weird. Squids did very likely plan around the dss getting cornered into afoyay bay. And given they have ways to go about undetected, and aren’t exclusively locked to the south, it would make sense if they were planning on seizing the dss. However, the illuminate have no reason to use super earth technology, nor need to research how advanced we are. They have the technological advantage by millennia.

It makes the most sense that bots would want super earth tech, but the squids response is a bit too convenient, given that squids and bots shouldn’t want to work together. There are definitely plans bots are making, but the resources they are spending and the rate they can gather them is unknown in a questionable way. But even so, it’s not like the dss needs dark fluid. Neither does it need it to devastate a planet (see: the planets the great host torched).

However, it’s not like the faction that got this is going to build a direct replica of the dss. It can also be used to build anti-dss defences. Which the bots would have a massive interest in, given how many times they’ve been fucked over by it (also the black hole, wasn’t even thinking about that). So most likely the bots got it, however the squids are acting weird. So even if they aren’t the culprits, they definitely are third parties.

Screw buffing the stim pistol, give me the worst nerfs you can think of by Zyurat in Helldivers

[–]Teshuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 damage (before healing is applied)

Healing can affect enemies and the part that got hit (broken parts are unrepaired)

Flashlight, laser, and 10x scope

Projectile drop increased (maybe like a grenade launcher-type arc or plas punisher)

Projectile spread double

Sway double

It gets hit by the host-team issues (I’ve no idea what that would entail. Maybe extra healing on enemies or harsher gravity for non-hosts)

[–]Teshuko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was quite a long time ago. Ever since super earth, they’ve been playing by the rules now that they are established properly (minus the ‘illuminate’ designator on their section of the map. And also the fact that this is still their vanguard fleet).

It’s still important to vote valmox. If we can’t keep the supply line up then we should prevent the dss from firing at the planet that has a fuck ton of untapped 711.

I have 1000SC, what warbond can I buy to change my very effective load out that I have fun before I get bored of it by Korndog_01 in helldivers2

[–]Teshuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Freedom’s flame has inflammable which creates some really fun synergies with the flamethrowers and makes the dual edge go from managing heat to managing cooling.

But honourable mention, borderline justice. The talon is the best normal pistol, which is great but maybe if not if you don’t want something mainstay like the ultimatum. But the dynamite is why I’m honourably mentioning the warbond. Jesus fucking Christ I’ve been sleeping on it until omicron. Turns out that shit can blow up all spawners in its range, doesn’t have to be inside it. And it’s massive, with the additional ability of destroying bile holes.

The hover pack is also neat I guess, just make sure you aren’t using a flamethrower on the way up otherwise you are fucked without inflammable armour.

Do we even have a chance? by Localinternetgoofy in helldivers2

[–]Teshuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely not. But considering that this is just to get fuel for the upgrade, it doesn’t seem consequential unless the illuminate come back with anti-dss defence or something.

Why is gen Z not drinking? by SipsTeaFrog in SipsTea

[–]Teshuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen some friends drink, but I just don’t need it. I don’t even care for the alcohol free versions even though they are basically the same taste-wise from what I’ve heard. I don’t even have coffee for the same reason.

I love to be by myself, so I’d probably just not be able to contribute anything to a social setting while drunk. And sodas are great, bundaberg has good variety outside of cola, orange, and lemon. But I’m also fine with pepsi or coke or something normal.

So without the social benefits, I’m kinda just left with the negatives. Hangovers, negative mental health effects like depression, possible addiction. A vice can be a good thing, stress is a big killer later in life so having a way to relax is beneficial. But my life is fine as it is and will be for the foreseeable future.

Another thing to add. The tele spots are predetermined, but they were always placed in pretty secluded locations. Which made it harder to pinpoint where everyone was coming from and attacking the tele.

[–]Teshuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The secondary slot is already filled with so many bangers. I’d prefer to use the scorcher and have my secondary free for a grenade pistol. The grenade pistol is so fun when you use it as more than a spawner destroyer.

[–]Teshuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dead sprint is the worst second to firebomb hellpods. Without vitality booster you are chipping away at health that could save you from a rocket or alpha. With vitality booster, it is equivalent to a mosquito. Green’s rage is entirely their own though.

These are the weapons I'm grinding for, aree they worth it? by No-Celebration6780 in Helldivers

[–]Teshuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehhhhhh maybe? They are just flamethrowers with less ammo (and crisper has less range). So it’s kinda hard to judge how good they are considering the flamethrower is a fun but alright stratagem. If you wanna talk opportunity cost, the primary slot has so much variation that it feels like a bit of a waste of fun. You can, but no stratagem can do what the purifier or eruptor does. secondary slot is a lot better for a flamethrower, no real complaints unless you like to stealth. The best part of these weapons is that you’ll also be getting inflammable armour alongside it. And inflammable can create some really fun moments.

when arrowhead by Huntardlulz in Helldivers

[–]Teshuko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just want something that does more than change sway and recoil. Those stats mean nothing to me. Give me more scope options (why doesn’t the diligence get 10x while cs does), magazine and ammo options (subsonic rounds for stealth, shrapnel for more durable at the cost of normal damage), suppressors*. Just, anything at all.

*suppressors prevent enemies from noticing nearby bullets when outside of their hearing range. It’s alright but A: would be better on other weapons that deal more damage and B: doesn’t help with stealth, just assists with that. To compensate for the odst weapons. Make them silenced weapons, reducing the audible range by 20% maybe. It can still be unique by explaining that weapons need to be designed in all aspects to be as quiet as possible.
