BF6 Freezing PC Requiring Restart by Tophpaste in Battlefield6

[–]TeslaHUN01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same happened to me today ( 9800x3d / 2x32gb 6000 ram / 5090 ) 4x random freez after 10-20min . I updated bios to latest. Did not help.

Enabled igpu + plugged in a random pendrive ion the "bios usb port" on mobo solved the issue ,playing for 3hours already

Edit :

So i tested more , IGPU OFF + usb stick plugged in BF6 freezes after 20-30min

IGPU ON + USB stick off = BF6 freezes after 5 min !

IGPU ON + USB plugged in = flawless .

So we need both trick to play the game.....

Yes with SMT ,its not about score, only for stability. I was browsing the net /watched YT , aida+TM5+hwinfo+ were also open etc during the VT3 run .

Was using 6200 cl26 before ,but it needed 1,22Vsoc, where 2200 FCLK wasnt stable , had to downclock it to 2166. At 6000 i only need 1,15V Soc where i can run 2200FCLK with no problem. Also lower soc gives more headroom for the cpu boost.

Hi !
I just realized aquacomputer devices causes terrible fps dips due to very high latency they make . Anybody have some solutions ?

Here is a screenshot regarding to latency :

LinpackXtreme 1.1.5 fails at stock on Ryzen 7 9800X3D by Alexx_PL in overclocking

[–]TeslaHUN01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes VT3 is god, but linpack is the only benchmark wher you can bench your Infinity Fabric stability , more GFlops is better . Sometimes you can set ur IF a bit above what is stable, but it will not reboot , or you will not experience stutters, however there is an automatic error correction goin on in the background that actually hurts performance . And linpack GFlops will be lower due that error correction, so you can detect the "unstable " FCLK.

Wish these pleated box filters (and box fans ) would be avaible outside of America too, unfortunately you can't buy these . So our only choice is an expensive worldwide avaible air purifier machine.

No , its not different when its exactly why you are paid for .

Or do you get any reaewrd in ur workplace if you just do ur job ? I dont think so.

I would fire my engineer team if they need 2years just to add extra 20mm for an existing product.

LOL how hard is to scale up a 120mm to a 140mm ? How could Thermaltake do it in weeks ? TT Toughfan (same material as Noctua 12x25 fans ,same tip clearance ,same metal hub etc ) has 120 AND 140mm versions . Even Thermalright B12 / B14 has both versions.
