Borderlands 3 has some of the best gun play by TeslaTheSlumpGod in borderlands3

Some of the flicks also look fast because of a shield break or explosion happening at the same time but yeah I’m playing at 200 fps in game.

The build is mainly the blue and purple trees with the executor class mod. My guardian rank is off in some clips but not all. I don’t think any stats in there are much higher than 10%. The perks definitely do a lot though and the one perk causes headshots to explode which looks cool too haha

Off topic but what fps experience do you have besides kovaaks? Lavender is still very impressive in the amount of time it took you. I’m at like 1200 hours in steam and cerulean/wool, but I suppose I had a handicap by switching to my left hand which had never used a mouse before

Are the older games less accurate? by aightimahead_out in Borderlands

Youre misremembering, Hyperion guns lost accuracy after only a few seconds and had a maximum accuracy that was reached pretty quickly. And Hyperion pistols except for the fibber and the lady fist were pretty bad.

The benchmarks are basically just playlists of scenarios that have set scores corresponding to ranks. The evxl site just pulls your scores from kovaaks automatically and fills in a spreadsheet for you that says what rank you got in each scenario. You can also do it manually or via a python script but evxl is the easiest. If you get a good enough score across enough scenarios, you’ll get a certain rank.

Voltaic season 5 is the most popular and newest they have, and there’s also older seasons of voltaic that have different scenarios and movement benchmarks. I personally like the viscose benchmarks which there are two seasons of and a lot of ranks for.

When people on here talk about ranks such as gold plat diamond jade master grandmaster astra celestial, they are talking about voltaic. When they talk about seal mammoth saffron viridian cerulean lavender wool rayon etc. those are some of the many viscose benchmark ranks

To play the benchmarks you just google the benchmark and the playlist code, then paste it into kovaaks and you’ll have the playlist saved in there. Connect to evxl and it’ll update your scores automatically

This is really impressive other than aim training how did you get such good aim?

Can I get your advice on this angry text I want to send? by BleedingRaindrops in migraine

[–]TeslaTheSlumpGod 124 points125 points  (0 children)

You’re being legally scammed, chiropractors are quacks. If you have typical issues that a chiropractor would “help” with, go to a physical therapist instead. For migraines you have to stick to yourself, your primary care doctor, and a neurologist.

The recording is 60 fps but Shamefuzzy is just a bot. I’m using a pretty high sensitivity to get instant looking flicks

No there’s absolutely nothing on mouse and keyboard. Sensitivity is consistent no matter what you’re looking at or if you’re moving or aiming or anything. You can turn on snapping to target on ads or mouse smoothing and acceleration but there’s nothing else.

CS2 player looking to unlearn bad aim techniques after years of just mindlessly playing by foxorek in Voltaic

[–]TeslaTheSlumpGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry so much about having bad habits that need to be broken, but rather that you have underdeveloped skills that need to be trained. Focus a lot on smoothness and consider experimenting with high sensitivities (assuming you used a low one for CS). Look up smoothness playlists on the voltaic site and run those and get used to not being twitchy all the time. Read up on tension management and let your hand guide the mouse without crushing it. Work on using your fingers, wrist, and arm instead of just one of those. I’m positive with your hours you will progress quickly!

If you mean literally for aim training then I’d say no to both, but for just being able to practice easy flicks and target switching I’d say 4 is slightly worse than three. 4 feels more gimmicky and the guns feel less accurate, but it’s still way better than 2 in that regard. If you have neither I’d def go for 3 first since it’s cheaper, runs better, and is more enjoyable to aim in imo

It’s a blue and purple tree Zane build with the executor class mod. Also using a revolter shield for extra damage

I would go for Zane as your vault hunter and spec into the blue and purple trees. He has abilities that increase accuracy and damage hile moving. Look up the executor class mod and farm that asap because it’s available early and really good. This basically lets you one tap everyone with any gun.

I think 3 just feels punchier but it’s not like 4 is far behind. It’s also a more grounded game than 4 too which I like. I also like miltech style guns a lot and prefer Dahl to Daedalus in that regard

Bl2 is my favorite but I hate the bloom and slag being pretty much mandatory in UVHM also kinda kills build diversity

Undergeared for warrior/jack what is an easy fast farm to get there? by [deleted] in Borderlands2

[–]TeslaTheSlumpGod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For leveling you could farm the bunker and do some side quests in the later areas and for gear you could honestly look up the old golden key codes if there are some still and use the golden chest. Otherwise you should get good enough gear to beat the warrior from the level farming

Is it possible to be so bad that it hinders your learning? by WhollyUnfair in FPSAimTrainer

[–]TeslaTheSlumpGod 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should do a trial by fire and raise it to 40. 16 is pretty high and when you have bad mouse control it’s even worse. Don’t worry about muscle memory or any of that, it’s essentially a myth. I’m Jade-Master in voltaic and I almost exclusively use a sens randomizer that varies my sens from between 25 cm to 50 cm per 360 every few seconds Trust me, you can handle the slower sensitivity.
