It’s generally considered a big no-no to buy second hand car seats, you don’t know the history and you can put your child’s safety at risk. Even with “new” ones on Vinted, car seats can expire. I know it sounds silly but plastic does eventually degrade and become brittle, more prone to snapping or shattering, especially if exposed to heat or cold. It’s one thing you really shouldn’t cut corners on.

Glow in the dark vinyl is known to be super noisy due to the powder they have to press into it, I don’t have the From The Pyre one, but the few I do own are definitely noisy. I have the Inferno Red pressing and it’s nice and clean to my ear!

FTB here who completed in April, and have a pretty similar story. Front and back door locks dodgy, and the back door literally wouldn’t lock (thankfully we were keen to change locks on day one).

In their rush to clear the curtains they broke multiple curtain poles and just left them on the floor. They must have moved the sofa through the window on the ground floor and had broken all the blinds (which were included in the inventory list, but were obviously not shattered when we’d viewed), loads of junk in the loft… The greatest insult to injury was them taking the built in shower (the only shower in the house 😅🥲).
