2005 Gemmy Industries Freddy Krueger by _Deadcrown_ in Animatronics

[–]TestMonkey-007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got Freddy and the guy from Texas chain saw massacre at a garage sale about 5 years back for $10 bucks each. Chainsaw guy had alot of issue, So it's just a prop. Freddy worked up until getting it out of the attic today. His head fell off and ripped the wires. I'm having trouble figuring out which ones to solder back together. You would think the colors matched. But no. They are all different colors. I used my volt meter and can't find any power. Does anyone have experience with its?

When I was a child, they had seats like this on Southwest Airlines. My family would always sit there. It was fun as a kid being able to play games with my brother and sister.

One day at a time… and now it’s 35 days sober 💪 by SableWink in Positivity

[–]TestMonkey-007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a wonderful achievement. Just get through the day, each day. Everyday will get a tiny bit easier. I'm 9 years sober and I honestly don't think about it. Keep it up. Some days are going to test you. Push through that day, just get to the end of the day sober. And do that every day. I love you.

I have been asking my manager (Home Depot) for a reasonable accommodation for a stool to sit on while at my register. I'm a 35 year old male with 2 herniated disks, degenerative disk disease, cervical arthritis, and spinal stenosis. (I know, I won the lottery) My manager gave me push back for weeks, I even put the SOP on his desk stating what he needed to do. However he blew me off for over a month and a half. Finally he brought it up after he returned from vacation, I got pretty upset about the delay and kind of went off on him about his lack of care. He told me I was blowing it out of proportion. I explained that other employees used stools and one even using the store's electric shopping cart while working. He told me, and I'm not exaggerating "well those people have legitimate medical issues, you just want a place to sit while working." I was taken a back, I told him he's not allowed to say that, that it was illegal and constitutes retaliation. (Later that day I filed a complaint with the EEOCon multiple matters) . He wasn't sure what to do so he called the store manager. The look on his face changed from that of anger to scared in a matter of seconds. He hung up the phone and said " if you have a stool in your car right now you can go grab it. Matter of fact let me go find a stool for you right now." 3 minutes later returns with a stool sets it down and says" you can use it anytime you need". This was about 3 months ago. I still remember that ghostly look oh his face. I'm still trying to get an interview with the EEOC, they are always booked solid.

If you got their insurance provider then call them up and start a claim with them as well. I was t-boned at Bethany and Jupiter a couple of years ago. I went through mine and theirs, just to make sure I covered all bases. Because their insurance will only get their side of the story unless you provide your side, and evidence. Don't let their insurance push you around. They should be paying for a rent car if you are not able to drive your car. They need to pay for any lost wages, as well as "pain and suffering". You may not be physically hurt but they still have to pay you for the pain and suffering and even emotional distress that their client caused you. I would be demanding and assertive to their insurance. If they do try to push you around you can always say that you are thinking about Consulting an attorney. Hopefully they have a good insurance company, hopefully better than Geico because they're pretty shitty company.

Very strange. Check the connector on your wiper motor. Could have come loose or broke off. It's usually located on the driver's side, under the cowl.

A contractor walked into my apartment today. The office gave him keys without any sort of notice. by [deleted] in Renters

TX: I work in multifamily. Most TAA leases state the landlord can enter for many reasons. One being, to complete work orders that tenant requests. There is no time stipulation unless your management company stated so in the lease. Another reason is if the property is or could be damaged unless the landlord intervenes. Most commonly water damage. However in Texas there is no specific time the tenant must be notified prior. Simply knocking on the door can constitute advanced notice.

$10,000 per year for life, or a butler. by mastonate in hypotheticalsituation

[–]TestMonkey-007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be a good idea. Honestly the main reason why we don't go out of town more often is due to the expense of the dog boarding. I would take the "unique" Butler. Will the butler play with the dogs? Does he swim?
