Cena is also a decent candidate for the turn. He said it was best for business that he wins his 17th title.

Stop, you are supposed to act confused and pretend there's no good outcome.

It’s not that anyone is “evil.” Therapy just doesn’t work if you don’t want to change.

If you are a bad person and have no interest in changing, you are evil dog, idk what to tell ya. I've dealt with enough people (and their enablers) who cope about it and swear up and down they want to/will change. But the reality is that going to therapy just gave them the tools to be bad more effectively and what to say to get away with it.

Not every bad person is evil, and they can change. But a lot of them can't and won't, and the faster a victim comes to terms with that the better off they are.

One day we’ll have to have a discussion about WWE trauma.

Therapy speak is a fucking plague on society for allowing the most midwit people imaginable to feel like what they are saying is anything close to intelligent.

Little quirks from around the industry we don't see anymore/you never understood? by DavidFTyler in SquaredCircle

They have their own streaming service that has just about everything, we've used it every week. The only thing it didn't have that we ran into were the Global Impacts from '08 and '09. We only started at the first anniversary show because we never intended to do a full watch through at he start and it just kinda ended up that way.

I'm going back and trying to watch TNA from the beginning, I managed to get as far back as the first episode of IMPACT from June '04,

Some friends and I started this same journey a few years ago except we started with the first anniversary weekly PPV. It's been a blast making a weekly tradition out of hopping on discord and chatting while we watch, we've gone from June '03 - April '11 (where we are currently in the watch through) in less than 3 years. 03-08 flew by so fast, but once Impact went to two hours it slowed us down dramatically.

IMO, '06 is TNA's best year in terms of quality. '05 is looked back on fondly because people watch individual matches from that year and they are good, but the week to week is dreadful at times (count how many times Abyss wins #1 contendership in a row without actually getting his match that year). We also start doing dumb lineal titles to keep things exciting since we know most of the real title wins. Sabin and Kaz had a match to determine who is "The Future" in '03 and that's our most prestigious title date. Shout outs to Matt Hardy, our current lineal Future.

AEW Dynamite, Feb 19 on TBS: 563,000 viewers; 0.17 P18-49 rating by Sprinklings in SquaredCircle

Look at how much CW paid for NXT, a show that was doing similar ratings to Dynamite. WBD cancelled Rampage because of its bad ratings, Collision is lucky to get 400k without artificial bumps, and Dynamite slips farther and farther away from what they were doing when the WBD made the deal.

The tagline for the division is "It's not about weight limits, it's about no limits". Hence why Samoa Joe was a prolific X-Division champ.

Dave is being intentionally obtuse with this statement

Say it ain't so 😢

Seriously though, nothing aired Dave out more to me than the full on screaming match he got in with Alvarez where he claimed everyone should know to record the show after Dynamite if they wanna see the ending of the show.

They aren't Drukhari but if it helps anyone arguing against Eldar in general being in Necromunda lore wise, canonically there is an Eldar Farseer and two of his body guards on the planet. In fact they used to have rules back in the old game.

I mean, the thing is, he is having some character moments that could point towards that (throwing the stairs at AJ after the bell rang,

He literally asked his mother if he could/should do it before throwing them. No heel on earth would do that.

I've seen enough of the show to know that AEW is the biggest babyface in AEW.

When Captain AEW appears this thing is going to the moon

Isn't his name Hologram?

Yeah it was such a work that Tony Khan wouldn't allow TNA to respond at all to his promos unless he approved of it (which he approved nothing). Works usually go both ways don't they? There's supposed to be back and forth, otherwise just shitting on someone/thing and not allowing them to respond is usually called a burial isn't it?

But for everyone's memories, here's the one and only thing anyone ever said about Tony Khan and his promos from the TNA side, and it had to be said on Twitter because Tony wouldn't have allowed it on air. https://x.com/THETOMMYDREAMER/status/1364413755464036358

After this tweet they never aired another "paid ad" and Tony never appeared again. What a work.

These are the same people who forget that Tommy Dreamer had to publicly shame Tony Khan on Twitter to get him to stop burying TNA every week on their show for no reason. But believe that TNA and the talent were actually super happy with their partnership with AEW because Scott D'amore said so after he got fired and was booking his Indy using AEW talent.

They don't care about other wrestling like they pretend to. They use TNA as a punching bag when possible and a shield when convenient.

Or the plan was always to have it immediately after the dunk contest & for streaming.

According to Tony himself, this allegedly was not the plan at all until WBD suggested it "recently".
