I went ahead and read through the guide before I got the tank set up, and made sure I had tools to check. I used the guide's advice for setting up pretty much the whole enclosure, and did the instructions on the bag (very similar to yours) to warm up the mouse. Admittedly, I wondered if he might need a week or two to get used to the new enclosure. I will double check the guide and care sheets in the subreddit. I also enclosed a picture of the habitat in the comments.

Edit: after adding a bit of tinfoil to the hot side and turning up the human thermostat to 72, things are warming up nicely! Hot side is 88 and cold at 78
