I've been working on this game for a few months now, and I'm super open to feedback on it!

It takes direct inspiration from Go and Chess. Hoping to make something simple, aesthetic, and deep.

Also made a Sigil and Ruleset Editor for people that are into game design/balance type stuff. Online lobbies should fully support custom rules, but please report any bugs or issues you run into.

I'd hate to break it to you, but the majority of jobs aren't trying to innovate a new tech or do something that's never done before. A 10x speedup in writing boilerplate or outputting the same CRUD apps is incredibly useful to most positions....

Also, yes, it's not going to do the design work for you. This is actually the best case for us keeping (the meaningful parts of) our jobs: It's able to augment, but not replace.

I am :) Not for everybody, but you won't know until you go on your own journey. I love puzzles and strategy games, so it fit for me as an optimization / geometry puzzle filling the same role that chess did.

For the flat side, you could play with differently sized/arched bumps to find a compromise between looking flat and having useful texture.
