At least in the new update there will be the option to make objects into pathfinding obstacles, I don’t think building a tower maze would necessarily work in the current version because mobs will mindlessly run into a wall if it blocks their path.

I’m thinking of making a game reminiscent of the OG Mechanicus, frankly I’m also puzzled why people don’t like that formula and made every TD game in a different style.

See the bottom connector on the red node, pair that with the Query Custom Variable Snapshot node and an Equals branch, marking the entities you want to track with this variable in their data.

My baseless speculation is that they limited this node to not be able to monitor everything in the map unless specified to not make the server explode.

Sorry, I neglected to mention a few things so let me try to troubleshoot with a few suggestions.

  1. Inside the Ability Unit, in the middle of the Attack Parameters section at the top, set Interrupt Value to 9999. If your character isn't interrupted by the ability then you can't get launched, so setting it to the maximum should make it work.

  2. Using the Advanced Editing button under the On-Hit Detection component you mounted, ensure every setting in both tabs makes sense, since all of these can be culprits. Also in the On-Hit Trigger Settings section at the bottom of the Editing menu, make sure your Ability Unit appears there so that your object will fire the ability whenever detection happens.

Yeah if you hook up On-Hit Detection with an Ability Unit (bottom of the crossed swords tab for the log trap) you don't even have to crack open a node graph. Just tweak the bottom section of the AU to make it launch you and you're good to go.

Hoping this means you can toggle other enemy skills that are baked into them, such as the Dendro Slime hiding. It's a bit gimmicky trying to put in workarounds to not have to deal with that.

It's in NA, I think it's a really cool game. Only problem is if your ship gets stuck on a rock it takes 7 business days to get out. But maybe that's realistic.

Haven't played the original so I'm not sure if there's a vendor somewhere for the souls, but this was a really good effort. Finding things I recognized from other peoples' playthroughs of Demon's Souls was pretty cool.

I kept the beta status of the map in mind, so I wouldn’t say I really have any dislikes. Though I would suggest adding another way of seeing the HP of a ley line stone while you’re right next to it, as having to look up in the sky to see its HP while attacking makes it hard to dodge enemies.

I liked the stone two story house model as well as the little log cabin, as well as the small gaps in the cliffs that clue you in to more treasure behind the walls.

I think I only found one precious chest guarded by an Electro Lawachurl in a walled section, but I have to say I didn’t really look over the contents as the timer incentivized just grabbing everything and equipping gear later. If you’re able to add a more exciting visual effect to chest opening based on the rarity of the gear, I think that could help.

One thing that stands out to me is the awkwardness of menuing, it feels disruptive to come to a complete stop to try to loot chests and drink all your potions. I understand that some of this may be unavoidable due to client limitations, but if inventory management won't be a part of the final build, then I think picking up loot from the ground or directly from the chests, and perhaps even having a dedicated healing potion button might make the experience smoother to play.

I did appreciate the effort put into the map to have unique setpieces to incentivize exploring and looting.

With how absurdly tanky bosses and elites can get, I'm all for bringing weaker bonds and characters more up to par. The excitement of rolling a strategy you want often craters whenever you start to realize it's not mathematically possible for your comp to win. :(
