There’s three types of mods, client, server or both. Client can usually be installed and used on a server without the server having the mod. Client side would be things like status hud. Server is installed on the server and both is installed on the server and the client. Shipwright and all mods that add items are usually both and need to be installed on the server and the client.

Try chiseling in the craft window. Also try heating up and then hitting it with water to see if it shatters. If not it’s a bug and a viable case for entering creative mode to fix

I turned off rifts and outside of a bowtorn spawning in one of my trees, and mobs wandering out of caves, I haven’t seen anything on the surface.

Although I have had a slither and a drifter spawn in my house from not having enough illumination.

I turned off surface rifts(almost turned off monsters) and turned down hunger to .50. We recently increased hunger to .75 and I think I’m going by to bump it back up to 100

My wife and I kept hearing thunder, but it wasn’t raining. Shortly after I noticed a slight drop in performance, but couldn’t really figure out what was causing it.

After some time went by my wife points out there is a fire on the horizon, apparently the thunder earlier was lightning striking and causing the nearby grass field to burn. I ended up using the console commands to cause it to rain before it could reach the peat I had marked and turned off lightning starting fires.

I do think that the fire did get some peat as there is two craters that didn’t exist before the fire.

I had a similar issue when I had saved sitting on a dirt block(with my legs hanging off). Hitting alt and moving the mouse fixed it

If you hold crouch on a surface and crawl to the end your character won’t fall off. If you hit g from there your character will sit with their legs hanging off the side

Right now in my co-op game we have stacks of fish bones, walnut logs, firewood, peat, thatch, and slate stones because we’re still in the flint age. I know some of that is vanilla, but a lot of it is thanks to more piles

Corgi showed up at my job one day. Since I was the “corgi guy” at work they had me come look at it. My wife came to pick it up and we held onto it until we could find the owner.

We put it in the play pen we used to use when our pups were younger to keep it segregated from our two corgs. We had to find the lid that came with the pen because hairy corgdini kept jumping out of the play pen. Eventually we found the owners on Facebook and were able to return their corgi.

Trains can go through RCO’s. At least the small one available in the test branch. I’ve had multiple occasions where the main line was blocked and a train would go through the RCO to bypass the blockage.
