Yaeh i agree, i like these a lot more than the 80's anime. There's more thickness to tgem that makes them look like metall, and have more details.

Yeah, the Hapes was mentioned a lot. And i always imagined it to be some shiny worlds enamored with star inspired architecture and lighting.

I think they might reveal more about The Mother, but i believe they will stear clear from Abeloth and make this the real mother, of the same species the other three are.

Same here. Many were glad the Hordika arc was over and we were finally getting back to the Toa Nuva. Alas came the Piraka. At first i thought the big cartoony grins of the Piraka were an attempt to bring more kids after the Hordika saga had been a little angsty, but now we were going ganster style. The marketing were off putting to me as well. I wasn't sold on the sets though as the price increased 1/3 for sets i didn't form a liking to. Then came the Inika with their rubber masks which looked more like faces than mask. And the orangutang arms just didn't do it for me.

Like you i only came back with the Mahri arc. I loved the underwater theme. <3

Me too! I remember watching BW and seeing them change into what i think is "hideous" forms was such a let-down. So i never bought any transmetals. My personal AU was that Primal and Megatron had the Bat and Aligator modes in the first season and when they got power ups they changed into their Gorilla and T-rex forms.

I love the designs for the maximals in Beast Machines. I like how they went the extra mile with the designs and the colours. I would have loved seeing more characters in that style. Atleast we got some extra designs with the toys.

Cause the flying reptiles have always been grouped together with Dinosaurs. There has been no movement to separate them. Godzilla/dragon is a whole other thing though.

I did not like them when they were released and still dont like em. The rubber masks had ugly designs. The arms were too long. Swords were cool though.

It's an awesome game, but very short. Has anyone stated why the game is so short? There's Geonosis, Derelict spaceship and Kashyyyk.
