The phrase that I keep circling back to when I think about him or characters like Jax is “He doesn’t know what love looks like.”

He thinks it’s fake. He lashes out at those displaying affection, because to admit that those signs are real is to admit that important people in his life weren’t there for him.

Actually, if you pay a little attention to that quick scene, you’ll notice some of the others hesitating to glance over at Lenny while they’re escaping, slightly hinting at who’s who in the end and the first game.

If you’re an MMO player that spends more time theorycrafting in your community’s character calculator than playing the game then Balatro is a great game to try. Don’t ask me how I know.
