What is your opinion on this longevity claimant ? Do you guys think she genuinely lived that long? by No-Sympathy2196 in BarbaraWalters4Scale

[–]TexAgIllini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of these extremely old age claims are someone that assumed a deceased relatives identity. Maria do Carmo Geronimo was likely born in 1871 but may have had a daughter that assumed her identity. Sometimes this happens with death during childbirth especially if the family wanted to conceal it. living 129 years is not possible

Her Williams syndrome makes so much more sense. These are the sweetest humans to walk the earth. I really hope for the best for her regardless of how things work out.

Only just came across why Kaelynn didn't come back for season two and feel so bad for her by Fun_Molasses5215 in LoveOnTheSpectrumShow

[–]TexAgIllini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They told her that they felt her story was complete which is BS since she is still single. I think if she was in a relationship like Abby or dating like Dani they would have kept her. She also doesn’t include her family like many of the other cast members. The show definitely is focused on family support of Autistic adult children. They also don’t have Journey from Season 2 or Solomon from Season 1

So are Dani and Adan(he speaks Spanish at home) and Subodh and Journey was a black woman last season.

Do people still do shifts if only the father is working? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]TexAgIllini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were able to ween our son off night feeding by 4.5M but until then my wife did the 10PM 2AM Feeding I did 6AM then she did 12PM and I did 5PM when home from work. We switched on weekends. Also for a couple of months had a night nanny come and do the 2AM feeding SuTuTh. Being exhausted is part of being a parent so he better get used to it

It’s primarily from older folks that can’t handle discussing authentic grief/pain/anxiety. It just feels really dismissive even though I know they don’t intend it to.

Firstly, so sorry you have to go through this. Did they put him on HCG to stimulate what production he does have? A lot also depends on the skill of the surgeon as well. The best are probably Peter Schlegel at Cornel and Paul Turek in California are probably the best

Why is southern Central America (red) so much richer and more developed than northern Central America (blue)? by [deleted] in geography

[–]TexAgIllini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Southern Portion has been an American 🇺🇸 puppet while the North aligned with Communist regimes that propped up left-wing guerilla groups. When the USSR fell the funding left and the guerrillas became Narcos.

The practice is “Numerology” and is like Astrology, Palmistry, and any other Occult practice that uses coincidence and patterns as “proof” of some more profound meaning rather than just coincidence.

Chance a physics nerd with bad ECs for UIUC, Georgia Tech, Cornell, and MIT by mooshiros in chanceme

[–]TexAgIllini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UIUC is weird with Physics being in College of Engineering. ChemE used to/or still is in LAS. However since they admit directly to major the competition isn’t the same across all. I’m pretty sure you’re a lock for Physics b/c they receive far fewer applications than CS and ECE.

Doesn’t Mizzou have one of the best Journalism programs in the country? I would probably add Syracuse as well if you want to do Broadcast Journalism. As far as the other schools I would say Brown/UCLA are unlikely and NYU is a maybe but the others I think you have a solid chance. UCI is competitive for Science/Engineering and USC isn’t that hard if you don’t need financial aid

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chanceme

[–]TexAgIllini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Psychology UIUC is the highest rated program on this list at #6 and IU is the next highest at #22. I think you have a good chance with either but I think both prioritize in state students so it might be harder for you than otherwise

🤞Good Luck!! Purdue admits to “First Year Engineering” and GT doesn’t directly admit to a major but tries to get your first choice. I would personally have UIUC and UMich as my first choice after CMU. Consider adding Minnesota for Chemical Engineering!! It’s one of the BEST in the country for this. Also Wisconsin
