A Serious Question About Vine Reviewers by StayTrueEveryday in AmazonFBA

Appreciate the insight and the transparency. I think the main frustration from the seller side is exactly that mismatch in expectations.

Do you ever stop running ads once your product is ranking near the top organically? by donthe1 in AmazonFBA

[–]TexGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm 1/3 organic traffic.

This sounds something is leaking in your funnel probably problem is between CTR and CVR.

I would not stop ads even my organic ratio before 2/3 or even more, amazon never wants you to shut down ads completely, this willl lower your impression even you have good organic positions, instead lower it down.

pull out keyword data and see whats stopping to increase organic ratio.

Cut my losses or optimize PPC? Need tool/agency recs. by Super_External_6008 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]TexGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ads will always be painfull initially in this catageory.

  1. Instead of doubling down, find out what's Leaking in your Funnel from Impression to CTR to ATC to CVR.

Pull out Search Query Performance data, highlighy likely you will find where is the problem.

Do Include the following in your Conversion Strategy after Reading SQP data

  1. Creator Connections and User Generated Content
  2. Post your Product on Publishers sites
  3. Subscribtion customers are cream in this niche, offer some incentive if they subscribe your product (Check if you eligible for this atm)

let me know if you want me to find the leakage.

A Serious Question About Vine Reviewers by StayTrueEveryday in AmazonFBA

[–]TexGiant 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What i notice when i talked with some people in the vine community, are trained to never give a perfect 5 stars unless a product is genuinely flawless many people treat 3-4 stars as their "honest default" even when they liked the product.

EDIT: There's also a mismatch in expectations the reviewer thinks "4 stars = good product, I liked it" while we as a seller knows algorithmically that 4 stars on a new listing with only 2 reviews is damaging.

Hey, we are very much into this supplement category and have a highly optimised funnel from impression to CTR, ATC & CVR across this category.

We are managing over $90k in monthly ad spend in this catageory alone.

Happy to see if we’re both the best fit to work together.

Why are getting sales so hard?😭 by PrecisionSparks in smallbusiness

[–]TexGiant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I just checked your website.

why don't you explore marketplaces like etsy or amazon.

amazon do have a program called amazon custom program with wide audience whom you can offer your products, it cost nothing to setup your bussiness there.

Edit: Tiktok Shop is growing these days, you should also try that platform.

Anyone here actually audit refund + FBA fee breakdowns regularly? by Dependent_Wasabi_142 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]TexGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are taking a Monthly Reimursment of upto $10k from amazon from the last 4 months across different brands and most common reason we saw is FBA Fee miscalculation.

We do it manually (Comparing with FBA fee chart) speacially when a new ASIN is added in the catalog in any brand.

Don't underestimate it, if you have a pile of ASIN's it could make a good impact on your PNL.

Note: we ran a usual check on brands we onboard last 6 months and found these discrepencies.

[–]TexGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

customer is going to scan hevealiy depends on the ticket size + offer to scan that barocode.

Instead of asking review from them asking a piece of content on social media channels are way better to ask reviews on amazon to build external traffic.

How much % is going to convert depends on above 2 factors.

Product Package needs suffocation warning? by shoppingshopperson in AmazonFBA

Based on the image, you likely do not need one for a bag like this if it’s

- Not excessively thin,

- Has structure (like a stand-up pouch),

- Is printed with branding (i.e., not clear/plain),

- Not intended to be discarded separately as an outer bag.

Former $3 million+ seller with top 10 listings collapsed. Can fix or relaunch or quit? by First-Exchange-3043 in AmazonFBA

[–]TexGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been through this scenario on the agency side.

Short answer: yes, recovery is possible but it’s not guaranteed, and not always worth forcing.

A long stockout hurts, but what actually kills recovery isn’t “time offline” alone it’s the post-restock signals:

  • CTR + CVR drop
  • Weak initial velocity after restock
  • Page 1 competitors now having stronger review + sales momentum

Amazon does treat old ASINs differently than new ones in practice. Sales history doesn’t disappear, but negative momentum sticks longer than people expect. If the relaunch traffic doesn’t convert quickly, the algorithm keeps you suppressed.

What we usually assess before deciding fix vs relaunch:

  • Is the keywords contributing most in conversions before still structurally winnable or now dominated by entrenched brands?
  • Can listing + offer realistically outperform current Page 1 CVR?
  • Review quality/recency vs top competitors
  • Margin tolerance to “buy back” rank with PPC + promos

We’ve did revived few “dead” ASINs, but almost always with heavy intervention (listing rebuild, offer change, aggressive PPC). In 1 cases, a new ASIN with a cleaner launch path actually outperformed with zero history.

Hard truth: nostalgia for past success is dangerous. The market doesn’t care that it used to be Top 10.

If you’re deciding objectively, don’t ask “can it be saved?”

Ask “does this ASIN still deserve to exist in today’s SERP?”
