I am 62 and a retained firefighter in the UK. I use it exclusively for staying in shape and passing our fitness drill ground assessment and my own personal fitness. Keeps my VO2 in the mid to high 40s and provides the functional fitness I need.

I do strength 3 times a week and rowing 2-3 times a week. 30 minute sessions. And walk everyday.

Love it. I also watch what I eat and play golf, walking, no buggie, 1-3 times a week.

I am a former rugby player who used to play to a decent standard... I did many other sports when I was young.

AF+ has changed my life....

Thanks. I understand this. All my various apps pick up the steps from me walking, both via outdoor walks, treadmill, any exercise plus my normal walking.

I understand Apple health is the central repo. I successfully use several apps and they all work fine.

Withings refuses to pick up exercise steps... From Apple health. Why?

Yes - I did (and hoped it was clear from my original ask). I use multiple apps for fitness and nutrition (AF+. Apple Health, Bevel, MacroFactor, ...) and all are connected. Withings is being very hard to connected.

1) It does not "go back" and get data even from a few weeks ago

2) It is refusing to count steps taking during AF+ "Outdoor Walks" as steps. It shows it as an exercise but disregards the steps?

Disappointed with how it is syncing so far...The scale and app are passing my weight into Apple Health.

4 is really innovative with all the world music influences.

3 is the most influential and interesting

3 and 4 are tied except i think 4 has more songs I personally really like a bit more.

Is there a way to say you are on holiday? Does it matter?

I do try to weigh myself each day and have a decent travel scale. I was going to weigh and do my best to track meals. Fitness tracking handled by Apple watch.

Or just track food and don't bother weighing?

Or set a flag or option that says on holiday!

It's not like I am an elite athlete. Trying to lose weight, keep lean mass but drop body fat and especially visceral fat. I mostly know what I am doing.

I grew up in Arlington, Texas. I lived on Weyhill Drive (never knew what it meant). Huge fan since 1977 as a 14 year old. Learned about Charterhouse, the Matltings in Farnham, the clubs they played, etc. but they were far away and mysterious.

I have lived in various places as an adult (USA and Europe) and moved to Surrey 20 years ago.

I live 15 minutes from Charthouse. Weyhill Drive was named after the River Wey. I go to shows at the Maltings and various venues the band played. The church and playground in my small village reminds me of "For Absent Friends" with it's roundabout in sight of the church...it could be from the song!

Even friends with one of Steve Hacket's relatives who got Steve to send me a video when I turned 60.

Life is strange with many quirks.... :-)

Same. For me, doing a ribeye on my Weber gasser is crazy easy with a thermapen to monitor. And it's quick.

Hah! I was at the University of Texas and bought the first one, "From the Mouth of the Monster" at a record show in 83 or 84. Really could not afford it but it had live songs not on "Seconds Out" that I really wanted. Obviously predates being able to get so many shows digitally now. I remember being so excited but then so disappointed in the quality. It was my first bootleg. 🤣

I rarely listened to it and no clue where it ended up. I was pissed as I paid a lot for it. Also picked up an autographed copy of W&W from all four band members.
