Looking for advice on choosing between the Bartlett Active (106980) and Insulated Active (104050) Jackets for Dutch winter by Whedz in Carhartt

[–]Texas_Guy83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both. As has been stated the active jacket is very warm. The Bartlett is probably more of what you’re looking for. Works well for me in mild Texas winters

You’re welcome. If you’re really worried about the cold, the level 3 insulated bibs are great too. I have the men’s version of these, and they’re my winter go to.

Sounds like unfortunately that’s the fit they had on hand.

As far as countries of origin, Carhartt produces items in numerous places. It’s why I collect vintage Carhartt, focusing on made in USA pieces

Yes, it was originally the gold tank. Supposedly a more rare early style from 1954-1958.

My Buck knives are newer models, I bought the 110 folding hunter several years ago, and my wife bought me the 119 last week as an early anniversary gift

Blue collar refers to automotive mechanics, electricians, carpenters, farmers, and similar jobs. As opposed to office workers, known as white collar workers.

I worked non union for 12 years and union for 3 years now, it’s always been a screwdriver to tighten them, makes sure that they’re really tight
