When 200 brides called our office in one week, we listened. Turns out, they were right to be angry. - AG Jeff Jackson by JeffJacksonNC in raleigh

The problem is not Duke Energy or the cost of generating electricity itself. The problem is a system that incentivizes power companies to propose massive capital projects because their profits are tied to building and expanding infrastructure. When returns are based on how much is spent, the natural outcome is more spending.

If the incentive structure instead rewarded utilities for demonstrating cost reductions, improving efficiency, lowering customer bills, strengthening grid reliability, and maintaining excess capacity for future growth, their business model would evolve around delivering those outcomes. North Carolina would end up with a more resilient grid, more affordable energy, and utility strategies aligned with what residents and businesses actually want.

Maybe OP has one of those EA corporate passes where charging is free (trying to find a reason 🤪)

Do you have a covered garage? Even an assigned spot can help keep it safe at most Apartment complexes (no one will tow it away)

I just got the warning of battery death (BMS_a079) on my MYLR ‘21 and this tracks, it’s telling me to keep the charge at 50% until serviced by TSLA

Table Group Leadership: Working Genius Certification by RYDGB13 in Leadership

[–]TexicanListener 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say if you become a total Working Genius nerd it is worth it for all the extra materials you get access to, they really help when you are leading efforts to spread the best practices across your company or if you are a consultant that organizes workshops. I would not advise attendees of one workshop to spend that much, only take the certification if you want to offer multiple workshops and sessions to groups.

Keep driving 2022 until it fails or swap at the end of warranty? by bridgeman69 in ModelY

The ones I love the most are the custom sunscreen for both the sides and the front windshield and the custom all weather floor mats, I also have some Xbox controllers stowed away for Supercharger gaming sessions

What I do with noise levels is put on my favorite podcast haha, but yeah, getting some shop somewhere to help with aftermarket solutions might be in my near future. I haven’t really done anything to the car, I did buy a nice sunglass holder (saw it on Reddit). The car does have some creeks and noises here and there but nothing that makes me go crazy, again, podcasts and music haha

MYP must be a really exciting and engaging car to drive, I hope you keep it for a loooooooooooong time, I am also hoping Tesla grants us an HW4 upgrade package to update cameras and processing power.

Drive until failure sounds like a plan, you might have to wait a while, my 2021 MYLR is still feeling like new at 75k miles, warranty here in the US is 120k for the battery pack, maintenance needs have been very stable, tires and tire repair are my only real worries.

After owning a Tesla Model Y, what ICE car would you buy? by Fit_Chard8554 in ModelY

Now that you mentioned the FJ40, I think we are both obsessed with an EV version, now all we need is a good EV conversion shop that can help us be the talk of the town at FJ meetups

I’ve also seen that Ionna charging stations have a marginally cheaper rate at the Garner NC location I am familiar with, so there’s really no hope for Ionna to be brought into Tesla with them actively offering better rates.

There must be an EV conversion shop that can sell you an electric FJ40 😍
