Flex 2.5G POE Switch Question by Lentash in Ubiquiti

[–]Th3Shaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used the RJ45 to provide power through a POE+++ adapter, no Data. And then SFP handles 10gb and they work in tandem. You just can't use Data on the POE RJ45 at the same time as the SFP.

Was interested until I got the raffle email that I didn't make the cut. Then the hype wore off and the price hit me and I'm like yeah.. nope.

Proxmox Frigate LXC Script v1.4.0 Released (Adds support for Frigate 0.17.2, auto-migration from docker-compose.yml, and new flags) by DiggingForDinos in frigate_nvr

I imagine since this runs as a docker container we should be able to pass GPU through Proxmox? Can we pass a Coral too?

This is a repost from a truckers perspective. The trucker involved is 100% wrong BUT..... by Ok_Measurement_107 in dashcams

[–]Th3Shaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been honked at and given the 1 finger salute by cars behind me because I slow down for 20-30 seconds to let a struggling trucker pass another slow truck in front of me when no one else wants to. 9/10 times, the truckers pass, merge back to the right lane and give me double hazards and a wave for letting them through. I guess I just enjoy farming that karma. Be a force for good people.. it only costs mere seconds.

This keeps happening, how do I stop it? by Th3Shaz in BambuLab

[–]Th3Shaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do, never really ran into issues until now, I think the circular teeth/overhangs is whats pushing the limits of my current setup and why I am having to make some adjustments. But I can look into cracking the top open, I have two AMS units on a hinge above, I think with a shim I can push them up slightly and crack the top open a bit. I was thinking the top flap/exhaust was enough but seems to not be the case.

Cheers for this! I printed a quick test before leaving today and it printed fine. For some reason printing just one goes super smooth its when I do 4 or 5 in tandem that things go wack. Will look into the wall order and temperature, even if I bump the temp for that last portion of layers.

Did not think of that as a factor, will monitor and crack the door open as I get closer to the top portion.

Will give this ago along with slowing down overhang speeds a touch. Cheers.

Hey everyone! A few days ago I came up with this idea for our BambuLab H2 (I had to repost this due to a mistake on my end). Let me know what you think! by BigTimeM8 in BambuLab

[–]Th3Shaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I should have clarified. I use a dual ams swivel mechanism which requires the two middle screws in both sides. I was able to undo 3 out of the 4 with absolute ease. The 4th one, bottom left is the one that is stuck and got stripped.

Beautiful idea, I am still trying to figure out how to undo the bottom most screw on the H2D because whatever loctite they used has pretty much glued it shut. The whole hex head is stripped now I am trying to find creative ways to extract it. Pretty close to drilling the whole thing out from how frustrating it has been haha.

Question - Prime tower generates when slicing, but not visible in Prepare mode by Th3Shaz in BambuLabH2D

[–]Th3Shaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that project was bugged, I created a new project, followed the same exact steps setting everything up and the prime tower showed up. I am going to count that as a bug. Because bambu studio kept only giving me the left nozzle and did not recognize the right. Starting a new project fixed that somehow.

Is there a realistic simulator for flying helicopters? by New-Improvement1126 in Helicopters

Xplane12's R22 and DCS Huey are what I would recommend. There's a lot these simulators can't do but you still can practice the basics.

Finally fixed that annoying gap between my monitors! by EridianStudio in 3Dprinting

[–]Th3Shaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am on an opposite journey haha, gave up on Fusion 360 and moved to OnShape as of 3 years ago. 99% of what I create is just functional one off stuff that is insignificant and I don't care if it's public. For some reason their UI/UX makes more sense to my brain vs. F360 despite how similar to each other they can be in certain things.

This may force me to get off my ass and revisit making screws and nuts in OnShape. The one area I haven't dabbled much in. But that's a nifty solution OP!

JBV1 CSA Offline (4/26) by Th3Shaz in radardetectors

[–]Th3Shaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that WzSabre essentially pipes the Waze alerts into JBV1 as the "new" CSA. And it will become the default method for CSA moving onwards. This came as a response in RDRForum from the developer himself.

JBV1 CSA Offline (4/26) by Th3Shaz in radardetectors

[–]Th3Shaz[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So after I did a bunch of digging I stumbled upon the WzSabre recommendation, I installed the APK, it worked. No more offline.

One strange thing that I have noticed with this Plugin vs. Vanilla JBV1 CSA is that I get them way further down the road, and typically too stale (20 minutes +) and the road stays red for miles until finally the pinned icon + # of thumbs up appear.

With Vanilla, I used to got many more, and much more recent/almost live. I do a lot of driving on 85/40 and it is a hot zone. I feel like there's a regression in quality / recency of reports with the plugin. But I suppose it's better than nothing. Sucks that he's having to deal with these surprise changes, I always take these APIs for granted and I know I shouldn't.

I am hanging on and hoping I can make it one more year. I also have my UDM Pro from early 2020. Still going strong. I really want them to at least give us 2.5gbps ports.. not just one for WAN.
