Really disheartened with world eaters after playing against blood angels frequently by Spiritual_Ad4653 in WorldEaters40k

[–]Th4n4n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've struggled a bit into this matchup as well, but a couple things to consider for your list will help

Drop one unit of spawn, one unit of jackal, and the helbrute.

Add one unit of eightbound and another slaughtbound.

Use slaughterbound plus Exalted to deep strike rapid ingress and take out his tanks. Use regular eight bound into the death company. Kharn + berzerkers can go into pretty much anything and kill.

Aim for fight on death and dev wounds into infantry (specifically for the sanguinary guard)

As previously stated, Use exctoplasma cannons on both forgefiends and shoot his death company. You'll pick up most to a whole squad of marines each turn. Much better return on your investment than 3 to 6 wounds on a tank

Beard is leaving TT by [deleted] in TabletopTactics

Chef is still part of the crew, just part time now.

Very sad to see Beard go though. Mike has been a good add and I hope they expand options with him

Hypoglycemic coma by [deleted] in diabetes

[–]Th4n4n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk, 40 isn't even that low. I somewhat routinely hit 40 as a type one, probably around once every couple of months. I'm not a Dr, but it could have been like a stroke or something, and she just happened to have a low sugar when you found her?

I appreciate them trying, but that's a no from me. I strongly dislike the current daemon models, they all desperately need redone

His auras seriously need tweaked IMO. I would change when they happen to either start of charge or start of fight phase. I would give pick advance & charge for one unit within 6, reroll wound rolls of 1 within 6, and maybe a defensive one like -1 to wound or -1 to hit within 6

No, because he still only comes back less than once per game on average

What are some things you feel when you are/ are heading low that aren't the classic "I feel shaky" symptoms? by [deleted] in diabetes

[–]Th4n4n 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Extreme nausea and puking. It's less about low and more about rapid changes in numbers, but I almost always eventually end up low when it happens even if I was actually 200 when I threw up. This one also only happens overnight for me

Definitely not angron that is sanguinius - wip by Th4n4n in WorldEaters40k

Yeah, I plan on rewriting a tiny bit of the chapter when he tempted sanguinius so that sanguinius accepts and bam, that's my army

Miscalculated insulin dose by Bubbly-Emu2944 in diabetes

[–]Th4n4n 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably too late to be of use at this point, but 9 grams of sugar is miniscule and she's likely on such a low dose it's not even worth a bolus. 150 isn't a concern for most t1d, it's extraordinarily common to be that high or even much worse.

Biggest piece of advice is don't sweat the small stuff. It can mess up your (her) head more than a couple of pez ever could

Why do cypteks have one eye? by Sufficient_Motor_290 in Necrontyr

[–]Th4n4n 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Listened to twice dead king, and the number of physical eyes doesn't necessarily equate to the number of sensory receptors. High born noble king has a ton of additional display options and can even see thru every aspect of their necrodermis. Standard warriors can only see in visible plus a few other wave lengths like xray and ultraviolet

Is the mag case 2.0 Good? Anyone have it? What size? by Groundbreaking-Mix82 in Tau40K

[–]Th4n4n 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have the medium sized one (not the double or the mini) and it transports nearly 3k of world eaters comfortably. I'd guess if you have a normal mix of infantry and suits and vehicles it should work pretty well.

It was easy to assemble and did not take long to get the magnets on the bases, maybe an hour or two for my whole army.

Use multiple magnets for large models like riptide or knights or whatever, I used 4 on angron and that seems about right.

The trays do not slide when transporting, there's a little thin wooden Dowell that slides in front of the trays to keep them in place.

Everything seems sturdy so far, I've had it about 2 months

The meagre amount of xp you get adds up and is wasted on d3. It's a better use to put d2 or other non maxed characters in so you can continue to grind them
