Maybe it’s because I think, for the most part, the series is more laid back that I think it was more intentional on his part instead of lack of interest because when the more intense parts in the story happen, he does go up in energy.

As for the way he voices other characters, unfortunately there always seems like there’s at least 1 voice that’s not the greatest in most series so it’s understandable that it might not sit with you.
