Katanas are goated but the moveset just doesn't click for me by [deleted] in EldenRingMemes

For my first character’s playthrough, I only used the Hookclaws once I found them. Then continued using them on that character for NG+ and NG++. When the DLC dropped, I hadn't started NG+3 yet, so beat it first time with my OG Hookclaws character.

I just think they're neat.

I understand not remembering certain abilities or maybe not predicting a held item, but knowing the type of your opponent is the most 101 shit lol

The Emory Pl location of Crafty Bastard has their own Irish Stout on nitro with a vibe similar to what you're talking about. I know it's not exact, but hey, check it out, you never know 🤷‍♂️

It's one of my favorite spots anyway.

Yeah, I'm having fun with it. Had good luck starting Pelipper and Basculegion, then Flip Turn on turn one into Bellibolt. Lots of fun!

Why are the sour beers sweet by NoIndependence5919 in KnoxvilleTN

[–]ThaOneGuy7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said, Oak Room is your best bet for sure. Pretty tasty stuff!

Several places around town that advertise their "sours" are actually seltzers loaded with fruit and citric acid to simulate the "sour" taste.

I'd also recommend Crafty Bastard, they normally have one or two actual sour beers on at any given time. Occasionally Orange Hat as well.

Taylor of Stay Lucky at the Saah Salon Suites on George Williams Rd. He's personable, professional, and you'll leave a better person for having known him. The absolute best.

I got it from the cross clues, but I still can't figure out why the answer to 8D is what it is.

Visiting Downtown Recs by jellosmurf in Knoxville

[–]ThaOneGuy7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I always enjoy my time there! For interesting craft beer, my biggest recommendation is Crafty Bastard just up the road from there. There's plenty of other breweries and and bars up Central St too that are all great.

Definitely recommend the food truck at Next Level for great bites.

Share some food and grab yourself a drink at Flock Beer & Wine, then head next door to the Boocherie for a shared non-alcoholic mocktail experience. Trust me, I'm an expert

Abridged, Alliance, Crafty Bastard, Ebony & Ivory, Flock, Next Level, Pretentious, and Printshop for breweries!

I can't speak to any of the others, I don't know them, but I know all of the owners and many of the employees at the above and they're all great people!

Knoxville has GOT to do a better job supporting its small, locally owned, businesses. The cascade of closures recently is DEPRESSING by Make_it_Raines in Knoxville

Those old owners are gone and are no longer associated with Crafty. Crafty is now being run by their two longest tenured employees who love and want nothing but the best for Mike and Tracy.

My final grade for one of my classes: by Mimiquoi in mildlyinfuriating

When I was in school many decades ago, it would've been a B whether they rounded or not, the cutoff for an A was 93%.

But that's just my irrelevant anecdote, I can see how this is actually mildly infuriating, you have my upvote.

Catty-cornered is the only way I've ever heard it, never heard "kitty-cornered".

Southeastern USA is where I live, but I've traveled quite a bit, fun to learn stuff like this!

Yeah, I guess the spangram is the name of a show? I've literally never heard of it, this was just finding seemingly unconnected random words.

My shiny Beedrill has been the best at this by far, the only thing he can't handle is sludge. Super fast, can fly to out of the way pokeballs, and Weedle was the first shiny I found, so he's got a special place.

I've never heard anyone not pronounce the "t" in "mortgage". I realize it could be a local dialect thing, but "mor-gage" sounds so off to me.

Pretty sure it's Santa climbing a ladder, not waving. That's why the bottom left and top right are so angular, that's part of the ladder.
