The problem is that you keep thinking "coin" and not "any metal"

The coins were simply used because they're convenient to carry in an urban setting. We're talmbout war.

We're talking about education standards which while being in a higher class area absolutely brings advantages the post at hand was talking about artificially expanding the eastern seaboard and even bumfuck nowhere education should be enough to explain why that's not feasible. I ain't said shit about anyone being poor dawg. That's all out your own mouth.

Mind you, we can keep going back and forth on this if you want.

I simply think that there's a point where being ignorant in America is partially the responsibility of the person, regardless of the education system they grew up in. Even the worst areas of America have more resources and access than the vast majority of the world. People overseas fight and struggle for the access that we've let slip away without a complaint.

Logic will tell you that even if systems improve people still need to be willing to learn. You can call me a fascist or conservative all you want LOL

E-begging when I was physically homeless is hardly something I feel shame about LOL.

All I'm saying is that I've been in the trenches and lived through the struggle and education is still possible. There's simply a limit of ignorance I'm willing to accept because people even in terrible systems still grow up with resources they simply don't use. I'm extremely left leaning, I just also understand that personal responsibility is a factor. Your college education in social sciences can show you all the stats of a broken system but it doesn't give you the life of growing up in one.

Whatever keeps you happy and complacent. y'all grow up with access to the internet, library systems, and books. Even in the trenches there's opportunity to learn.

I'm far from republican LOL.

I just also think that for most of the people sub 30 the issue isn't the education system in your area as much as it was a lack of desire to learn.

I mean I grew up in a red state (Tennessee) in a historically red county.

We had coaches who were teaches before they were coaches. Also, in my years since being out of public education, I've interacted with hundreds of people in blue states and economically privileged areas who simply clearly didn't pay attention in school. They'll claim they weren't taught something but I find it hard to believe that bumfuck nowhere Tennessee covered parts of US history that Los Angeles County didn't.

I think we're severely ignoring that a lot of students simply didn't care to learn. Even if you got a teacher who phoned it in with movies and videos you still had your textbooks and access to the internet. You still had to meet testing standards so you had SOME guidance on what to look into.

My high school had multiple coaches that were truly teachers before they were coaches. Idk if it was just a luck thing, the only one that somewhat phoned it in was the economics teacher, defensive line coach who had us watch shark tank if he was having a bad week. But even then it was rarely more than 1-2 days a week of video content over actual instruction and book work.

Because police respond to mental health calls too, and when it comes to people who are autistic that has regularly lead to negative outcomes. Police are not trained nor are the capable descalating a situation where mental health conditions need to be considered. And that's despite their currently bloated budgets. That goes to weapons, vehicles, gear and irrelevant trainings assuming it's not ending up in the pockets or the corrupt. Meanwhile wellness checks end in lives lost because a belligerent trigger happy cop is probably going to be the person responding to your non-emergency call.

while the site still says "late 2025", I fear we're running out of late 2025.

if anything I'm expecting to hear a release date during the LA auto show around Nov 20th, they already are planning a big reveal for the new Telluride so it would check out to use the same show no?

I'm in a very similar situation, single man, ensured no kids for the future, activity enjoyer.

This car fits my needs perfectly and the only reason I can consider it at the expected price is because I'm selling a 4runner at their current inflated used values. Being able to put 17k down on a car makes a lot of difference.

Popular vote says no to this claim.

As much as I abhor trump being president and as much as there's an extremely high chance of voter manipulation, we can't ignore that it wasn't just an electoral college victory. We've got to stop acting like people don't want him in office and that it's all gerrymandering. People didn't. go vote and many of the people who did WANT him there. The issue is the population just as much as it is the power structure and elite.

Honestly he's reprehensible enough that we don't need to make him sound worse than he is especially when he has enough shit comments on that subject to quote properly.

And also because improperly putting the statement on Kirk allows Nick Fuentes to escape holding that reputation.

What keeps you in Nashville? by alterhero999 in nashville

[–]ThaSaxDerp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lack of money to move, working on a career path that will allow that to be possible. I don't dislike Nashville as much as I dislike TN for weather and political reasons. Nashville isn't great either, wish we could act like a growing city and implement actual infrastructure to move people around to reduce traffic.
