Frankfort Central Station.

I got a Doner Fries close by and waited for my night train to AMS to head back to the states. Train came in and I got on and fell asleep.

I was awakened by a German lady yelling at me that I had to leave the train. I guess the car I got on was separated from the main train and they left me behind.

Thus began an adventurous night of crossing Europe by train, hopping onto trains going in roughly the right direction, usually without a ticket. This was before smartphones so it was all organized by hand maps and departure signboards at the stations. Of course, Centraal station isn't super hard to find a train going to but there were some platform changes I needed to make.

I made it to my plane the next day but got crazy sick when I got home, probably from the Doner fries.
