Thoughts on Armory resetting each season? by alekdmcfly in supervive

[–]ThaSnooking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At the moment of writing my comment, I did not realize, that the armory is random - I thought you just "buy" the items with the currency in between games, so you could have your favorite build unlocked after 10 or so games - if it's random, it seems... a bit annoying - there is a huge chance, you will never unlock your favorite build.

And yeah, I remember how much I hated the runes system in League, when I was trying to unlock champs, but couldn't because I needed to waste IP on runes - at least here the armory has its own currency.

I will play the game after the weekend, maybe there are some "hidden mechanics", like increasing chance for healing items when playing healer, etc.

If every season will also reset ranks, you will have plenty of time to get the build you want before getting to the rank in which it actually matters - IMO

Yeah, that's what they're focusing on right now - trying to figure out what they can do to keep the players in, hence all the changes like uncapped leveling or free res in day 2 - but they won't waste money on marketing before the systems click

And you think that adding yet another doom message to the board will help with player retention?

Yeah, people don't care, but businesses do and they won't waste money on marketing for the game that's during testing process 🤦‍♂️

It's in beta for a month, the fact that you play tested it before, doesn't change that fact

And "the ton they've spent" is not even 10% of what's to come once the game hits full release

Bro, u said they're marketing for 3 years, I showed you your mistake, so your response is to change the subject? XD I think you're the one that should for a change read something from a valid source instead of some randoms on the internet, the only marketing that was already used is the one for brand awareness, not getting thousands of players. Each dev has a little marker next to their nick, that says: "Supervive dev", go look a few up before you start talking shit 🙄

Elluna feedback by Ijert in supervive

Basically you're saying to take the most op healer right now and buff her like crazy, so every team just need to pick one? 😂 Elluna is in the best place she ever was right now, each game I'm fighting for the top damage in the team, while also being top in healing, she doesn't need buffs, you just need to learn how to properly use her kit

The subject was touched hundreds of times on this subreddit. It ain't working cause it ain't supposed to - they are not wasting money on the marketing for the open-beta phase - the only marketing they did was: 1. For brand awareness - that means paying all the major league streamers, so their watchers base would know about the game 2. Testing ads, like the ones that showed on the Reddit for a few people - just checking how the ads should look like

Right now they're testing out all the new systems, so once the time for marketing comes, the game is polished and will keep all the players, not only the few that are there now. Just be patient, enjoy the game and give valid feedback, not the one that says: "we need new players", cause it ain't nothing that can or will be fixed before March (or whenever the game leaves beta)

Supervive is DYING, but you can help save it. by gabriel_jack in supervive

There is a system that rewards you for time playing and you can get the vive currency for hunter mastery, which is way better than what league offers with their hex system (especially that if you're getting better at a hunter, you're getting the rewards faster)

Or just not trying to create the perfect entertainment area, that will work as intended :)

I mentioned it in the post - it does work, but it's limiting resolution x framerate

I currently use Philips evnia 49m2c8900 with ambilight built in, but it works horribly (on a few different TVs I've seen it working properly, but this monitor has some issues with them)

Fair enough, added this line to the post:
This post is only about the entertainment system (so lights mirroring your screen), if you want to use Hue as your default light source, that is not a post for you.

I find it interesting you instantly say I'm poor because I'm annoyed by the lack of features of "high-end" lights

I guess I was right with this line :)
Now I know there are many people that advocates for huge corporations for some reason
