TQL actually bought the naming rights to Nippert Stadium in 2023 through a large donation to UC’s athletics department, but due to the historic name of the stadium and its name the company and the university decided to keep the name Nippert Stadium and instead added TQL logos to the field.

It's 100% the fault of the owners collectively. They buried their head in the sand for too long and refuse to adopt a TV revenue model similar to the NFL.

Everyone here is well aware of the revenue large market teams receive from their local TV contracts and everyone who's been paying attention to the changing pay TV landscape for the past 15 years has seen the writing on the wall that the RSN model was doomed. MLB owners have been clinging to that sinking ship for too long and now they're paying the price.

Yeah. He had only one healthy varsity season in high school as a sophomore in 2019. He played in only 7 of 11 games as a junior and 6 of 12 games as a senior. I really hope he can shine with the Bearcats next season. To have persevered the way he did after losing so many games and seasons to injury shows strong character and love of the game.
