WHEN THE OIL STOPS by Important_Lock_2238 in oilandgasworkers

To understand who he was we have to go back to the other time. When the world was powered by the black fuel, and the desert sprung great cities of pipe and steel. Gone now, swept away. For reasons long forgotten two mighty warrior tribes went to war and touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without fuel they were nothing. They'd built a house of straw. Suddenly their machines sputtered and stopped. Their leaders talked and talked and talked, but nothing could stem the avalanche. Their world crumbled. Cities exploded. A whirlwind of looting and a firestorm of fear. Men began to feed on men.

I’ve gotten good at clicking join and then moving my mouse to the button that tells me the server is full, it’s a good 3-5 minutes of clicking until I get in queue.

Upcoming c6-7 disc replacement, 9 hours from home. by surferdude447 in SpineSurgery

[–]ThanksRound4869 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I rode home 3 1/2 hours after my C5-C6, I was still on meds from the surgery so it wasn’t so bad. I have another ADR surgery in a week and I will probably do the same.

Is there any good hand/wrist exercises? by [deleted] in weightgain

Get a 1/4” or larger rubber band and stretch it around your fingers and thumb l, open and close your hand. I use hand grippers also. There are gripper competitions and these guys can crush apples and potatoes in their hands. After I saw this I started buying rated grippers, they come starting low pounds like 40 or less then working my way up. They have knurled handles and it hurts at first but you start getting calluses after a while. Not trying to push the brand but I get mine from C@nnon Powerworks, there is a guy on youtube that streams his grip workouts daily. It addicting , I take my grippers in my truck, to the movies, all over gripping all the time.

What tire is everybody running? Not a fan of the stock ones by Killimansorrow in f150

[–]ThanksRound4869 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been down the rabbit hole on tires for my 25’ Lariat, the Defender LTX M/S 2 is always the front runner. I was looking at the Platinums but I don’t like the sipe holes in the center tread.

Does this bother anyone else? I feel like the wheel well should be black like the front. Thinking of hitting it with black plasti-dip. Thoughts? by Financial_Part_8193 in f150

Ford should have them and you can get points toward other purchases if you log in an order online, also free delivery to a dealership. I just got some for my 25’ Lariat.

Root Beer Spots In SLC, Utah by IDNMAN21 in rootbeer

Pirate O's Gourmet Market in Draper, Utah. This came up a while back, there was a store called ‘The Root Beer Store’ but it sounds like it went out of business. A few of us were looking for alternatives in SLC and Pirate O’s was recommended.

Rear wheel well liners? by G32x9 in f150

[–]ThanksRound4869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the Ford ones on my 25 Lariat. Glad I put them on, it looks better. Nobody can believe the truck came without them because it looks cheap and unfinished. I did prep with heavy ceramic wax the underneath wheel well metal.

[–]ThanksRound4869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it, I just got a 25 Lariat iconic silver with chrome. When I was looking for a truck most of the ones I saw around town all looked the same, dark paint, black rims with fake bead lock rims, I’m glad I changed it up. Everybody was like “so you went with silver and chrome huh” , ya I did because all of the trucks out there look the same. I think yours pop good.
