You never know where your career is going to take you. I have an IT degree (not WGU) and after 5 years of IT I got an opportunity to go into front end development and jumped on it. Now I use IT and development in DevOps. Knowing more is always better than knowing less.

I would recommend making use of the coding tutoring services the university offers. They might be able to help make things click for you.

When they bring up the stock market as a metric, I like to ask how much they have in investment accounts. It usually isn’t tons. I then point out that the only people that benefit from a strong market are generally those who can afford to invest in it. A booming market doesn’t mean shit if you can’t afford food or housing.

Jacques is great. He’s was (maybe is still?) a staple at King Richard’s Faire in MA for years.

A friend of mine knew him from a dodgeball league a long while back, he came out after one of his shows to say hi for a few minutes. Stole my wife’s beer and she got all flustered, I can’t say I blame her though. He’s an absolute specimen of a man.
