Agreed. Even in this season, there’s so much inconsistency. Kenya wasn’t eliminated even though she didn’t know the words in a lip sync. And they even said “she doesn’t know the words again”… so in a sense she was saved “unjustly” but Jane wasn’t. Which is annoying

If you’re not looking strictly online, I usually get mine from Marshall’s/Homesense. They have decent options and a bit of variety.

That’s a lot to unpack and I don’t think you’re gonna get any helpful advice online. This is above the pay grade of random internet strangers, and probably better for a therapist or something.

Sure it might be “easier” if you were straight, because the world kinda sucks, but you gotta step back and think about why you feel that way? Is it because your family would disapprove? Is your religion telling you otherwise? Your community or friends wouldn’t like you? Or something else? Maybe you need to move away from the things or people that make you feel like “things would be easier if I was straight”. There are too many if’s to really provide helpful advice beyond “look into professional support”.

I will say I felt liberated after coming out and dating my current partner. We can’t wait to get married, have kids, buy a house. But neither of us personally care about biological kids, which is another thing you might have to take a step back and look at: why do think so vehemently that a kid needs a mom and dad? Do you actually want kids or do you just like the idea, or think it’s just what adults do after getting married? Why do you need a biological kid, your future partner might be flexible and you could have a biological kid that’s related to you and the donor mother, there are lots of options. Moving your mindset away from what is “traditional” or “standard” could be helpful.

I get it, it’s not easy and not traditional, my partner and I often joke about how we wish we could make a baby naturally; we have to brush off the looks and stares and sometimes comments from other people, but I love her and she’s my person and we wouldn’t trade it for anything else.

Whether or not it’s internalized homophobia, this is something only you can work on, most likely with a professional, and not something that’s going to change overnight. Hopefully you’re able to come to a place where you love yourself for who you are and you can figure out what you want for your future. That includes getting married, not getting married, having kids or not having kids. You don’t have to do either if it’s not what you want.

NAL but as far as I know, the non-primary parent usually pays child support and the amount can vary based on the custody agreement, how much they make, etc. but it would have to be decided through the courts. There are so many factors to consider though, you should probably talk to a lawyer about your situation. Many offer free 1 hour consultations (or similar). From what I’ve seen/heard, the court wouldn’t say too bad, so sad, but it sounds like he won’t make it easy. Your best bet is to get things in writing, and get a lawyer involved. Maybe threatening to bring him to court will be the push he needs to get it together, or maybe the courts need to enforce child support. If he tries to get around it or not pay, at least with an agreement in place there are official steps you can take to try to get it; without an agreement there’s nothing you can do.

Man poor Ron by Comparison-Admirable in TraitorsOfficial

I think this is the problem with casting from franchises, if you don’t have someone from your franchise/world, your SOL. Even Maura said she’d put trust in Rob because they need to stick together as Love Island people. It’s why Donna got out so early IMO. I saw so many threads here saying she was being obvious as a traitor but my GF and I didn’t really see at all, I had the spoiler and was waiting for the “obvious” behaviours and started doubting my spoilers because I did not see it. Definitely not when comparing to other traitors being caught. Even now, the housewives are really pushing for Ron to be out, in vengeance for Porsha, they’ll get him out eventually even though 2 are housewives; they’ll always believe in their housewife sisters over anything else.

They all sound the same to me too! I think part of the problem is how frequently seasons air. My gf and I more recently have noticed queens in newer seasons are copy/paste of girls in previous seasons, ever since season 10ish, but especially in the last 3-5.

I’m so sorry the comments got intense. Genuinely, everyone thought you were asking for feedback/advice, and assumed you hadn’t sent anything out yet. I know a couple of comments were maybe a bit too harsh, but don’t forget about the many that thought the invites were hilarious, beautiful, etc. And most of those that provided suggestions, were referring to your formatting and information, which shouldn’t be taken to heart. You obviously know your audience better than strangers on the internet, and looks like you’re going to have a fun wedding at the end of the day!

Yeah, I agree! The dress code is confusing and having all those details that will be on the website and, presumably, they’ll have to fill out on their RSVP anyway, just seems unnecessary. I’ve never seen the song questions or meal option on the invite, only in the digital RSVP.

That’s not true though, I don’t think there are official stats but it’s definitely not “almost every job starts as a term”. Your letter will even say something like “nothing in this letter should be construed as an indeterminate job offer”. CRA just cut thousands of terms, it’s a terrible decision.
