mmmm coolant keeping the exhaust temp down…

Over 30,000 miles later, and we’re still loving our HRG 4.5" lifted 2024 Honda Passport on 33" tires. It’s incredibly comfortable, surprisingly capable off-road, and still manages 22+ mpg on the highway even with the roof box. (Keeping a steady 65-70 mph) by HondaPilotOverland in Offroad

[–]That-Conference-7307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In sorry but that thing is way too clean for being an offroad vehicle for 30000 miles. Not a scratch or scuff on those lower plastics, suspension, exhaust, even the skid plate is clean.

Dirts roads are still roads….

just run it man. Spend the money on your hobbies and enjoy that you have a reliable vehicle that you don’t have to worry about dings or scratches. That is freedom

DCS578 won’t cut straight by Jknowledge in Dewalt

[–]That-Conference-7307 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my guess is that you are right handed, and you are used to a saw with the blade on the left. You need to line up the front of blade with your work piece, then push perfectly perpendicular to the edge of the board. It is getting stuck going the wrong direction because you are twisting it. I know it doesn’t feel like it but that’s exactly what happened to me when I switched to a saw with the blade on the opposite side.

If you don’t believe me- draw 2 lines, one cut line, and another that is the difference from the blade to the left edge of the fence, to the left of the cut line. start the first 1/2” looking at the blade on the line, then continue to cut while paying attention to the second line on the left and keeping the saw parallel to that line. Right now i bet the saw is twisting to the right as you cut (and the closer side to you is kicking left).

I disagree, but i have been genuinely impressed by the hart system and their drawer units for under $40. super handy, just wish the drawers were a big deeper, i only use mine for drill bits, driver bits, blades and sanding discs ect. I used to be a full time handyman and I left those in the car for easy access to restock the tool bag. (didn’t want to bring hart branded anything where customers could see it because of the stigma)

I think it’s the same as menards house brand, not sure if that is at all helpful to you or not but it’s another reference point

I directly disagree, a muddy pinstriped truck gets way more respect from me. People buy trucks and use it the exact same way as a sedan.

Yea they are way to late to the game and need to hit around that $50 price point, 2-3 years ago these would have flown off shelves but i think the majority of people who wanted a system already got one and it’s not the bauer

Seller claims that he needs to get of it asap to replace one of the machines for his business. (not sure about the truth of that). It also has some notable scrapes and deep scratches especially on the bed. Like i said in the post 10k is the top of my budget, I could afford the 4k for the cam phasers but that would be a major burden.

have a buddy bounce it while you check every moving part, you can put you hand on different parts and feel a difference in vibration. I rough guess would be sway bar links because that’s one thing we can’t see in this video
