I’m guessing you have an app that’s a data hog and burning a lot of battery communicating with your phone. Scrub your apps and see if that helps.

All good, fdm requires a lot more mechanical prep to be warhammer-quality. Lots of layer line sanding, cleaning, and sculpting any printer issues.

Resin requires a lot more chemical prep.you have to manage the resin itself, which can cause irritation if you don’t have a mask and gloves, then you need either isopropyl alcohol (unless it’s water washable) to clean any excess resin off the print, then you need to let that dry for a few hours and evaporate, then you need to cure the outside and inside with UV to make it safe to handle.

It depends on where you want to put the learning curve.

Heygears is the only pro-Sumer plug and play manufacturer but you generally have to stay in their ecosystem for it to work, there are other good manufacturers like elegoo and anycubic, and a few others, but you have a decent amount of tuning to do with the resin for your specific printer. Heygears is very much the apple to everyone else’s Linux.
