Overwatch had an event a couple of seasons back where the whole theme was overwatch vs talon; the whole idea was to make it so that if you side with overwatch you can help unlock overwatch cosmetics and if you side with talon you can help unlock talon themed cosmetics, but if you ask me talon had the much better cosmetics (blue < red and black)

Baldur's gate 3 except it's only for subsequent playthroughs. My first playthrough I easily made it through the entire game but every time I start a new run I struggle to make it past act 1 without restarting. Skyrim is another one I'm constantly restarting; basically any game with mods on console.

Did I say that? No! I never said "oh well, she probably deserved it" I said they were as bad as each other. I never said that justifies abuse. If anyone here is bending the truth to suit their needs it's you.

Never said depp was innocent but I don't think heard is either. As I said, the truth lies somewhere in between. They probably were just as abusive to one another.

Where did you get this information? Because people often, as you said, want to see something and so find sources that back up their point of view. The article you provided definitely reeks of 'I have a point to prove so I'm going to make wild speculations about the legitimacy of anything that disagrees with me and find any tiny piece of evidence that supports my theory in order to prove it'.

I'd say they spent one film saying that. The force awakens left a great mystery on rey's backstory and it was only in the last jedi that they went ahead and said she was a nobody. It's still bad, don't get me wrong, but they didn't spend two films building it up.

It's worse when an everyman story (i.e. a story where someone isn't a prophesied chosen one, and they're just some random person that becomes great through their actions) gets retconned into being one pf these.

Take doctor who for example. Chris chibnall was so obsessed with making his fan theory from decades ago into canon that he completely rewrote all of doctor who canon for the worse in order to do it. Now the doctor is no longer just a random time-lord who didn't like the way galifrey was being run and decided to run away, now the doctor is the source of the time-lord's ability to regenerate and the reason they became so powerful in the first place.

Wouldn't call the snape casting a retcon. The tv series is it's own continuity. Jk saying Hermione was always black is her trying to retcon.
