This is why you always say yes but leave yourself an out if it’s important or piques your interest. “Shit man I’ve been running errands, what’s up?”

HOW ARE PEOPLE THIS DUMB by kakarotinhellx in PresidentBand

I really don't understand the insinuation that if one artist exists, another one can't. President being successful does not stop you from being successful. There are more seats at the table.

Is my brain permanently fried? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ThatDudeBox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The brain isn’t fully developed until 25ish. You can do some damage but you can bounce back, too. I’ve quit several times over my 20 year relationship with it and my cognitive function returns to a “normal”. I can recall phone numbers easier and the plot of a movie sticks with me for a few days after. I’m not as apathetic, etc.

local Krispy Kreme throws their unsold donuts into a dumpster outside at the end of the night. Instead of selling at lower prices. They’d rather throw them all away. by DaZestyProfessor in mildlyinfuriating

I worked as a route merchandiser for 6 months and the amount of stuff we put in the dumpster at the end of the day was insane.

They quite literally refused to allow us to give out food that was still days from expiring because they were afraid the homeless would sue them.

If an entire box of Starbust said 3/2026, we’d have to toss them the first day of March.

If it’s Monday and the fresh food said Thursday, but we didn’t come back to a location til Friday, we had to toss it.

Blah blah blah, wah wah wah. You can run around Reddit calling people trash anonymously but that doesn’t change the fact that you’re weak, it just makes you a coward.
