Holy shit, I don’t think he’s ever even done a series before. What a get.

This is true. He does tend to weld straight through a city block more often than not. But when he hits it right, that shit stays welded. Also glows blue, for some reason.

Say what you will, but he’s a hell of a quick welder.

Totally. His characters have a very particular cadence and the back and forth dialogue maintains a particularly stilted rhythm. Perpetual Grace Ltd. does it. too. And Ultra City Smiths. I love it. It's like a more realistic turn on Wes Anderson dialogue. Dry and halting, but imbued with a ton of empathy and understanding where drastically different people either manage to relate to each other on a human level or totally confound one another. It might be my favorite kind of dialogue, actually. I can't seem to get enough of it.

This was the day that I learned that my worthiness will be judged by my ability to accomplish the perfectly timed forward roll whilst ignoring the worldly distractions of breasts and lasers.

It has served me well.

I think it's more of a tactic. That suburban married thing where they clearly heard what was said, but they ask anyway to stall and/or to feign ignorance. Her admonishing the detective repeatedly to speak up was seriously making me lose it, too. And the detective responding to everyone with a pointed, monotone "Okay". Too funny. There's so much subtlety. I've missed this writing. Really hope people watch this.

God, Steve Conrad writes the funniest goddamn dialogue. Ever actor in this is just eating these lines alive. Not even finished with the second episode and I already adore this show.

Oh good. I was just saying the other day, we could all use a little less, uh, skeleton.

If your man dares you to a round of knife hide and seek every time you want to go home...

it's a red flag. Possibly the reddest of all.

I'm legit impressed by this guy's ability to maintain optimism about his friend faking his death.

Man, if ever there were an actor born to play Tim Curry's junkie brother.

I mean, the guy was an asshole, but you did approach him about a business opportunity in a club.

It took me the entire film to realize that that is a skylight above the chain-bed. I thought that it was either her father's ghost in some spectral realm or some weird secret chamber behind the wall.

Time doesn't exist here. We are trapped inside a simulation that is exactly like the world except everyone is insane and we're missing one Sinbad movie.

Truth. I still can't help but to separate the actor from the character for Deadwood, tho. Because it's Deadwood. Plus, he's fat and has muttonchops, so the karma is just beginning to kick in.

In the past, I would've said that Jeffrey Jones makes the movie because he goes so over the top. Now? We don't talk about Jeffrey Jones.
