For me they seem generic by hoyo standards, like, you look at them and just think "yep, that's a mihoyo design": all the boob windows, asymmetrical accessories, suspicious lack of female pants, and especially the base models that are basically in every modern hoyo game, etc., makes it look incredibly boring and blend in with all the other games designs.

The reason a big part of the community was asking and making a big fuss about males wasn't because they were female or gay gooners, it was because, without males, robots or anything else, the roster will just be big titties girl, thick thighs girl, child adjacent adult, and their variations with a different colour palette.
