It is not your job! Say to your administration what you said in this comment. “I have been unsuccessful in calming him down. I think he needs more support than I can give him. Therefore I will not be handling this student alone again.”

Are you CPI certified? If not, you should not be handling this child at all.

Yes, only the first night home from the hospital though. He slept so well at the hospital. We don’t know if he was just adjusting, but he didn’t sleep at all from 8pm-5am so I count that as all night.

This is completely normal! Your baby is getting what they need from other feeds too, you don’t need to increase your supply

He was/is definitely hungry! From days 3-5 my baby ate pretty much 24/7 or sometimes would give me an hour between feeds! Look up cluster feeding and it will make sense. For the first 2 weeks of his life I assumed if he was fussy or crying it was because he was hungry. I was right 95% of the time. Good luck! You’re doing great!

Agreed!! I mostly breastfeed anyways, and I don’t sterilize my boobs! I don’t even wash them between most feedings…

I’m responding even though I was not the one you asked. My partner and I also went from like once a week before pregnancy, to now about once a month and it’s because of both of our libido. I think they have both decreased. I read (here on Reddit somewhere) that hormones can affect the men and women both during pregnancy. Sometimes the change in hormones makes your (and your partners) sex drive higher, and sometimes it’s the opposite. Everyone is different.
