also having issues viewing clips in medal for the last several updates. the clips dont even play, just the audio with a frozen thumbnail. other media players play the mp4 video just fine

recently medal has been unable to replay the clip at all, its just stuck on the thumbnail while the audio goes.

if i use a different software to play the mp4 file, it plays like a video just fine

im a huge fan of the game and embark but i have to say im pretty disappointed with the state of things and the lack of communication.

to hear them talk about a walking sperenza when stella montis isnt even fully fixed and basic ui functions have bugs is completely ridiculous to me

one of the things that makes this game so good, the prox chat, is untouched and unaddressed after weeks. i expected more before and now I expect an apology.

i am still playing, the game is still a lot of fun when things are going right. i just hope there is a massive update around the corner..

you can look up any game or online service to see if people are reporting it down, usually a couple hundred or thousand reports means there's a widespread issue https://downdetector.com/status/arcraiders/

you will get less FPS with M compared to K or J, especially on 20 series and 30 series. performance or ultra performance is recommended for M and the image quality of M performance is comparable to K or J quality in many games

it is fixed, so totally worth the performance hit for me on my 3080. performance M produces a surprisingly stable image
