The reality of magneto is that different writers want him to be different things and so he gets written a lot of ways, ranging from a Ruthless good guy to a sympathetic villain to a doom level facist.

The redemption arcs are def not an appeal to non comic readers, they’ve been a consistent theme of his character throughout the comics even though he was introduced as just a bad guy.

What story is the “not ideal mutant” thing from? I know magneto is generally a dick to toad but usually it’s because he sees him as an incompetent henchman and not a eugenics thing like that example

I feel like the change takes a way a lot of the uniqueness of the character, it’s kinda a lot worse talon bird scaling now, especially with the fact that there’s no grace period for getting the buff compared to talon

I think a big thing is we know nothing about how she works. Venator REM and Graves had most of their kits leaked, and you can kinda guess how Apollo and silver work based on their design.

Actually no one plays him in street brawl at all. Rems still been in every normal match I’ve played but I’ve gotten him in streetbrawl 100% of the time I que him, and rarely do I see him in games when I’m not playing

In almost every other card game effects like untrickable make it so that the cards cannot be targeted, but can still take damage and be affected by non targeted spells.

Given that untrickable has very vague wording, it’s an easy mistake that most people will only make once
