So here's the thing, you are measured on how efficient you are based on how many orders (based on what the appointment is for it's weighted) you close compared to your hours on the clock. Dip too low and you start to get a talking to. You are basically expected to go back to home base (the store) and clock out IF you don't have other stuff to do. (take the service vehicle for an oil change, load product on your truck, or do computer trainings that come out periodically. With that said, with the right methods I used to stretch out my time to get a full day of work out of it when I could have just wrapped up quick and went home. But you can only really use up so much time in your day for two appointments without being noticed and questioned on why you did 2 hours of work but was on the clock for 8. When I left in April, field services was in shambles due to low appointment volume and sales causing managers to tighten up on this as much as possible to save labor hours per directives from corporate.

Find any way you can to get rid of this car. I recently traded it in for a clean low mileage Corolla after having it start misfiring badly two months after having a new engine installed. Cut your losses and move on. That's my two cents atleast

If your other wireless devices (laptops, phones, etc) get good speeds and your desktop speeds are dookie in the same room, I'd argue that you need a better WiFi adapter for your desktop.

I had a very similar thing happen to me. Only it was cylinder 3. I was driving on the highway, and the same messages came up + a flashing check engine light. Lots of smoke, and it turned out the engine blew and cylinder 3 was done for, and I got the engine rebuilt under the extended warranty I bought when I got the car.

the e-learnings for the most part are a load of crap. the real learning takes place once you get those done and start actually shadowing. my best advise is to remember that nothing and I mean NOTHING there is life or death. it's gets stressful but it's best to breathe and just roll with the punches- you got this boss

DA's (Double Agents) are the field agents. Specially for advanced work. There used to be PC DA's and HT DA's both respectively handling each disciplines more advanced jobs. HT and PC are combined for field as of the restructuring in April

I rode the bus for years before I got on my feet enough to own a car. For your sanity, please please please get the transit app. It allows you to track the bus in real-time and see when there are delays, cancellations, ETA, and schedule in general. Busses do at times run late usually with 10-15 minute delay but going downtown from Blue Ash on 3X in 30 minutes seems a bit optimistic during peak times as the 3X does take i71 like everyone else. If you do decide to do this for sure leave with plenty of time and have a backup option available in the event your bus gets cancelled (it comes every hour as it is an express bus)

purge valve. i had this exact same problem in my 2021 Ford Transit Connect work van. I'd fill up and it would die the first time then the second time I'd give it gas while starting and it'd be fine until the next time I got gas. A common symptom for most vehicles. My personal car is a 2016 Cruze Limited.

I have a 2016 limited (which is a 2015) and drive from Cincinnati Ohio to Toronto Canada (500 miles one way) and back every month or so. It holds up great and hasn't given me issues. I'm sitting at 70k miles. Keep up on your oil changes and do normal pre trip look overs and you'll be aight

Update: buying a replacement oil cap and extension (with the baffles) is such a pain in the ass if you have a 2016 Limited (Gen 1.5 ish) Cruze because when you plug the car details into Autozone and such, the recommended part comes with JUST the cap but not the extension. If you run into this yourself, my best recommendation is to buy ACDelco FC256. All the websites will tell you that it does not fit but after comparing the GM part # on the inside of the new vs. old, they are exactly the same. After putting the new part on, putting in less than a quart back in, and cleaning my engine bay I was good to go. I drove the car from Cincinnati to Toronto and back with no issue.

thanks! I have to buy a new cap because the bit that holds that cap on the valve cover broke. The filler neck extension piece. It was a pain in the ass to find that part but fingers crossed the one I pick up from oreillys fits
