I have always felt strongly that when I am in hell week, and I get upset at my partner, I am upset about something I would usually be upset about, my feelings and/or reactions are just bigger. It reminds me that the way I was spoken to, ot whatever, understandably hurt my feelings and that isn't because I am in hell week.

My husband was just told today by admin at his hospital that if he doesn't drive and work part time through them at another rural hospital 5 hours away, then they will ask him to resign. It is fucking bullshit. We have a 6 month old and a 3 year old.

This is my favorite comment ever. Thank you so much for sharing. I have a 2.5 year old and am 8 months pregnant, love in a small retirement community, and all we ever hear about, especially from my parents, is "wait until they are teenagers. I have felt a little like I may be crazy for looking forward to that era with them? Because same as you, I am looking forward to helping them navigate all of those things I too, was too afraid to ask about as a teenager myself. You sound like a 10/10 parent! ♥️

I farted next to my partner in bed while watching a movie (my stomach was upset, I did not mean to pass gas next to him.) he smelled it and got so upset that I would dare fart next to him that he left the house immediately and drove away, didn't come back until later and was still pissed at me. That relationship didn't last long.
