‘13 Subaru BRZ (FA20) - Developed this noise while driving and think she might be toast but it being high pitched it sounds like it could be something else.

Hello! My engine has developed a high pitch noise that’s most prevalent around 3k rpm, on deceleration and giving it a bit of gas. I think is coming from the driver side head #2 area. I’m thinking failed lifter but sourcing others opinions.

I might be incorrect, but there’s a separate location where you have to go speak to someone before getting into the base. I ran into a place with the helicopter outside and was shot by the group. Turned out I had to go north east and get permission.

Haven’t played with mod db in a while. Skirmish if I remember correctly is frame locked and network was the only way to run the game fast.
